I feel bad for him. He probably spends 50 percent of his day either pissing or drinking water.
-
You can tell by the looks on his eyes that he's extremely sad about his condition. I feel so bad for him. 😞
-
My daughter has this condition and I thank him greatly for dining light on it. She suffered daily with it and when she watched this she realized she's not alone. Thank you

This man is a god damn warrior, he went through university and became an architect while having this condition on his shoulder.
-
And he still got through university and became an architect. Very impressive
-
This is like a living nightmare. Imagine how tiring it is to force yourself to drink 20 liters daily, plus if he sleeps too long he won’t wake up.

I have had this disease for 11 years. I went 3 years untreated, it is truly horrible. Having to plan your entire life around bathroom breaks every 30 minutes to an hour and constantly having to have a drink with you. I felt like a burden to other people. I was waking up 12-15 times during the night to use the bathroom. Once doctors finally figured out what was wrong (Diabetes Insipidus) I was put on a medication called Desmopressin, and it completely changed my life. I’ve been on it for the last 8 years and I rarely have to use the bathroom at night anymore. And I can now go hours without using a bathroom and I went from drinking 10 gallons of water a day to around a half gallon or so. I know exactly what this man has been going through
-
The worst part is having to wake up during the night multiple times. It means this man never in his life managed to get a normal sleep cycle and probably is constantly tired
-
I can't imagine what he must be going through, he looks healthy and he managed to study and become an engineer. Respect Edit : Architect not engineer.
-
You can feel he is tired. Dehydrated feelings. Lots of water. Sleepless nights. Boy thats tough. 🙏
-
To be an ARCHITECT under this level of agony is truly an accomplishment. All the best to you Marc.

this man is constantly living at 3am
-
He’s so depressed poor guy god bless him
-
The only man in the world legally allowed to say "it's water weight"

My wife has this, and she takes a prescription called DDAVP and it helps a lot, although she was never as severe as this guy. No doctors believed her growing up and we only found out after our son was born. We needed to have an emergency c-section and while she had a catheter the nurses noticed how much water she was drinking and how often she peed, so they have a specialist come in. We were told it was very rare, and then last year my brother in law also got diagnosed, so 2 in the same family. She still needs a lot of water and goes to the bathroom more than the average person but it's not affecting day to day life anymore.

This is just terribly heartbreaking. Any parent who loves their child will know the feeling of helplessness when you watch your child suffer like this. I feel bad for him but also his parents.
-
I have this same disease, I live in Chicago because it’s one of the only cities that have doctors that actually have studied this disease. Very very rare.
-
Thanks to new treatments, the water he needs per day dropped to 7 liters! I hope eventually it will be even less, but I was very happy to hear about this.
-
You can see that this condition and everything surrounding it, every aspect of his life that it impacts has been eroding away at him, but he's still managing university to become an architect, isn't giving up, and is actively looking for any and all support/insight into his condition and anything that can improve his quality of life. A strong man, with strong character and determination that's for sure. Hoping things and life have improved a good amount for Marc. Good for him man. :)
-
I sincerely hope this man is living his best life now.
