Whats interesting about hearing Connor reply to Jarvis and Jordan is how his accent changes to being less and more British to each of them respectfully
  • @davisuko_
It's like when my two best friends I've never been in the same room with reveal they're friends... I'm so stoked to hear this conversation!
  • @YogurtNight_
I never knew I needed this collab until today
  • @weeaboh
i really liked the convo about how connor was afraid to learn japanese as a younger weeb cause he thought it was "cringe" but regretted it later. i did the same thing where i always told myself "i'm not gonna learn japanese, i'm not like Other weebs" but now i'm 30 years old and realize that any learned skill you pick up and work on for months and years is super fucking cool and not cringe at all, even if your reason for doing it is seen as cringe. people should learn languages for literally any reason because it's good for your brain.

Connor’s PR tour is introducing me to all kinds of new podcasts I didn’t know about. These guys seem pretty chill.
  • @owenaeon2
I have no idea who you guys are, but I came here because Connor was on the show and now I'm 8 episodes into Sad Boyz and you guys are great, thanks for the mature and wholesome talk show content.

I used to religiously watch CDawgVA when I was heavily into anime (and Black Butler) and seeing him again reemerge into my life recently has been so interesting. Once I was 16 watching his cards against humanity videos, now I'm 22 much over my anime phase watching the youtuber I used to be obsessed with showing up on a podcast of the youtubers I currently watch. The world works in very interesting ways.

The BINDER shit is so cute my friend made me a binder of dragon ball characters and it was literally the characters in alphabetical order with their wiki descriptions đź’€

It’s nice to see a guest relate to and communicate with Jordan so much, usually it’s obvious they are more familiar with Jarvis, but it was nice to see Jordan and connor relate about the accent thing. I also want to tell Jarvis thank you for talking so openly about your bad mental health day on the last chad chad one. Its nice to know someone else out there understands what its like to get into your head about comments or situations and just ruminate on them.
  • @anyrija.
i know its sometimes annoying when people say "omg i never expected this collab" but omg i never expected this collab an insane crossover
  • @RakastaaKissa
The way Jordan is always sitting in the weirdest way is giving me life
  • @nobitanobi3475
What a weird crossover of my two worlds lmao . This man's everywhere !
  • @Stanheights
Huge fucking shoutout to whoever does the subtitles. I have audio processing problems so it immensely helps
  • @soaphi7069
half the time they talk about stuff I have absolutely no background info on or previous interest in and yet I listen to the whole thing cuz I love ppl being passionate abt their interests its so wholesome.
  • @boltzydog527
Connor talked more about anime on this podcast than on his anime podcast with youtubers who make anime content
  • @bethanoni95
I grew up pretty close to both football grounds in Liverpool and was also taken to lots of pubs around the area as a kid, so I felt it in my soul when Connor was talking about being in those pubs lol
  • @zizirose6312
This is so insane... I recently got into Sad Boyz but I've been watching Trash Taste for years.... my worlds colliding fr
  • @11DDylan
I thought I was the only one who thought One Piece was called Nepec as well. Glad to know Jarvis also called it that x)

When they were talking about growing up and their first reactions to anime, it unlocked a memory I'd completely forgotten. I remember I was watching Gundam Wing on toonami and one of the characters said damn. I grew up in a household where people didn't even say fart (but my mom would occasionally say "H e double hockey sticks" as if we all weren't literate enough to know what she was saying), so when I saw that I had to show my sister because she didn't believe me. Our minds were blown. Of course, when all of your friends do stuff regularly that your mother thinks is "of the devil" you learn to be rebellious pretty damn young, so my sister and I didn't mention it to my Mom. (Of course, she had no idea we were watching "anger cartoons" anyways, so explaining it would have been complicated.) I drink up toonami at my dad's house during the summer's and then would go to the libraries to Read Manga and transcriptions of anime episodes. I remember I found a website with all of the Inuyasha episode transcripts with little micro explanations of what was going on. Half the time it wouldn't make sense without the visual context but I spent years reading that shit. Edit: I just saw how destroyed my original post was due to autocorrect and bad voice to text. ^^; honestly, this was still rambly, but at least all the words are there.

been hoping for a collab with you guys since connor's charity auction, i can't WAIT to watch this tonight!! edit: really felt the bit about burying your interests growing up. i was bullied growing up for the games i liked, the shows i watched, and the music i listen to. to anyone reading this, don't let other people stop you!! your passions make you unique. i'm happy to say that i blocked out the people who made fun of my interests, and i'm now set to study japanese at a top uk uni. always follow your passions, regardless of what others think <3
