Amish and Bhavna have once again joined forces, following the tremendous success of their collaborative venture, 'Dharma: Decoding the Epics for a Meaningful Life,' which boasts a remarkable 6 million copies in print. Their latest book, 'Idols: Unearthing the Power of Murti Puja,' serves as a companion volume to 'Dharma'. It explores the profound reasons behind idol worship. Amish is one of the best-selling authors in India, renowned for his works such as the 'Shiva Trilogy' and 'Ram Chandra Series'.

In the latest episode of the ANI Podcast with Smita Prakash, the brother-sister duo delves into questions surrounding the enduring practice of idol worship. They unravel the mystery of why people continue to embrace this form of worship despite centuries of violence against it.

Amish and Bhavna also discuss the benefits of bhakti and explore the role of religion in individual lives and society. They ponder whether such worship can guide individuals towards discovering their true purpose and ultimately lead to peace and prosperity.

They also share their views on the ongoing debate over Sanatana Dharma. Amish and Bhavna also talk about the impact of foreign invasions on society and reflect on their own family background, and how it nurtured and shaped their careers as authors.

Despite horrendous Marxist control over Academia, I'm glad that Indian youth are finally getting their knowledge and wisdom on Dharma by such wonderful people.. My story, I was a Western style atheist untill I start reading about my own history and Dharma.. Now I know what Hinduism is all about. I'm a Dharmic Capitalist Hindutva'ite That's why Left hates popular podcasts because they are giving space to Hindu voices
  • My personal experience is that I also wanted to promote my dharma and I thought on it...23 years ago and kept my son's name Ram and Krishna....and now I am been recognised in my community as mother of Ram and Krishna..and.. indirectly I am doing japa of Ram and Krishna....all day...realising that the divinity is everywhere ...
  • Now what can i say ?? Guests just made me realized again of how blessed i am to belong to this great sanatan culture that i should be proud of and theres so much more to it 🙏

Didn’t know that no new temples were built for centuries in North India. Amazing to understand the possible reasons behind puja ghars in North Indian homes and their role in preserving Hinduism in the face of Islamic influence over centuries. Thank you Amish and Thank you Smita for getting interesting guests like these.

Many Hindus are not aware of Pran Pratishtha. This important spritual ceremony needs to be told to non hindus who treat idol worshippers with contempt.

We need more podcasts with Amish and bhavna ji. They truly represent cultural aspects of Bharat, truly sanatani.

Yes no child is born who listens to Ramayan for the first time.. I would sing one old marathi song "कौसल्येचा राम " when I pregnant for the whole 9 months it made me calm... After my son was born he would instantly sleep after listening to that very song..😊

This was perhaps the best podcasts that I happened to listened to in last few weeks. Especially when Amishji answered "We are the only pre bronze culture that is still alive, every other culture is wiped out". I am having goosebumps even when writing this back. Excellent episode. My congratulations to Smitaji and her entire production team for putting it all together. And ofcourse Amishji and Didi for their valuable insights. Pls keep up the good work.

What a pleasure to hear Amish and his sister Bhavana! Truly they are siblings blessed by their ancestors to embody and communicate our philosophy to us.

It is only when Amish speaks spirituality, philosophy and religion, my son listens. I have to just play this on TV and my 14 yr old is drawn like a magnet, because he has read his books and is high up there in his esteem. He is sceptical and has 100 questions. Too restless to listen to the little I have to say, but will listen to Amish ji with rapt attention. Dhanyavad Smitha ji for one of the best podcasts🙏 btw, I am from dakshina Karnataka too, speak tulu and had similar thoughts about kola as a kid like your child did. But now I know that I don't know anything😊
  • It's really not easy to open up about the tough times of your life and even depression. Kudos to the courage Bhavna mam holds and inspires many through her will power

This is a very good interview. Please interview Dushyant Sridhar. He is an amazing sanathana dharma scholar. Reason I say this is you will be surprised to listen his views about Ravana and Mahabali. I am pretty sure it would be worth interviewing him and document his views.

It's such a pleasure to hear Amish sir and Bhavana ma'am. May Krishna bless them with more knowledge ❤.
  • It gave me immense untold happiness listening to this beautiful conversation with Amish and Bhavna's. It was touching and at the same time knowledgeable. I will watch this episode many times over. Thanku you so much dear Smita. All your episodes are mind blowing. With best wishes and love ❤ Suloch Bhavnani. Loves for Amish and Bhavna.

As per book ‘Rishi Intelligence’—They are not idols, they should be referred to as murti or pratima…. Until prana is infused into the murti, it is not a diety”
  • @gopalarao99
This discussion is one of the most relevant and eyes opener for our hindu Brothers who have been cut off from our ancient wisdom /cultures by the ruthless.invaders who not only plundered but systematically destroyed our culture. Thanks for all of you participants and the anchor madam 🙏it is also pertinent to request the government to allow the study of hindu scriptures in the educational.institutions .krishnam vande jagadgurum.👏
  • This is such a beautiful and heart warming conversation that made me fall in love with our dharma and family values all over again!! I have read almost all books of Amish sir. I think he is most wonderful writers of his era. He is really blessed by lord Shiva. He holds grip over the story till the end and his stories never ends
