Yeah crime is just going to get worse...I'm a lifelong California resident, and I think it was a mistake to legalize marijuana here. All it has done is give a green light to cartels to move in from Mexico grow weed here because the punishment for growing weed in large amounts has been downgraded to a misdemeanor, and the state doesn't really pursue it anymore. And like it or not, weed is a commodity that is easy to steal, easy to sell, and generates cash - this makes it a prime target for thieves and robbers.
