This was the best WH wedding ever. Tricia was as perfect as any Royal and Edward amazingly handsome. It was absolutely gorgeous in every way. They have been happy for now 50 years!

It really was a beautiful wedding. Tricia was stunning. Best wishes to Tricia & Ed on their 50th anniversary.

My favorite wedding gown throughout time. The Bride was radiant, elegant and stunning. The Groom: handsome and dignified. I read awhile ago Tricia and Ed renewed their wedding vows. Wishing them continued happiness and joy.

I appreciate being able to see this excellent footage of Patricia Nixon and Edward Cox's wedding. The bride looked beautiful. It was also nice seeing the Johnson daughters, Lynda and Luci, as well as The Reverend and Mrs. Billy Graham. Tricia's sister Julie N. Eisenhower had married first, and there were brief glimpses of her as Matron of Honor. I had met her during the summer of 1968, when she was campaigning for her father in SC. A lovely, friendly person. I loved President Nixon's comment about the wedding being remembered as a day when everyone was "beautifully and simply happy". We need a day like that today.

My dad worked for the Park Service as a welder and helped construct the metal canopy frame for the wedding. President & Mrs. Nixon wrote him a lovely letter thanking him for the work he did. Very classy

Tricia's wedding gown was timeless. It still looks beautiful and very much in style today. The scalloped neckline was stunning on her. I think it was a gown designed by Priscilla of Boston. So classic.

Remember this like it was yesterday. I was 14...thought they made the most handsome couple. Both she and her sister, Julie, were the epitome of pure class...

What a lovely look back at a gentler and truer America. I was 9 and can remember watching the wedding ceremony on TV. I miss the Nixon family and wish Mrs. and Mr. Cox a very happy golden anniversary.
