BoundWorlds World Editor Tutorial 4: Creating Sprites and Basic Interactions

Published 2020-11-24
You know how it is sometimes...you think "Oh, I'm just going to add a few more features to the game before releasing the next tutorial so it doesn't get outdated" and you keep adding features and the next thing you know a year has gone by?

Yep, that happened. On the plus side, there's a lot of new features! Most of which revolve around the combat system and will not be covered in this video.

Anyway, so in this tutorial we go over creating new sprites, animations, and using Basic Player Interactions to make some friendly talkative mushrooms and other things. We also cover sprite linking, which lets you make sprites that trigger other sprites for stuff like switches that open doors.
