The 2024 Porsche Cayenne Coupe Turbo GT takes the kitchen sink approach with performance: How about everything? This two-row SUV with 22-inch wheels boasts 60 mph acceleration of 3.0 seconds and a 189 mph top speed. It also packs carbon ceramic brakes and an all-wheel drive system complete with rear-axle steering and torque vectoring. But how does the suspension make all that performance happen? That’s what resident suspension guru Dan Edmunds explains in this video.

Dang that is some sophisticated suspension work. I can’t imagine the cost of diagnosing and replacing parts on that.
-
Careful removing wheels especially in front. Bang the wheel on the carbon brake and chip it and you’re out over $20,000 for new front rotors.
-
I haven’t heard about motion ratios in YEARS! Good information in this video.
-
Hyundai puts money into pretty graphics and 3-D gauges, Porsche into suspension geometry. The invisible stuff is why they are so much more expensive and drive like nothing else.
-
Great video, keep these up please
-
Allright Car&driver, that’s why i subscribe and still read your magazine in paper; because you were and are different! Keep this type fő content coming and see your YouTube numbers go up. Is that simple

Great content, more this type of technical inspection. Thanks
-
Great dive into the suspension. Great job by Porsche!
-
This is so technical I love it; I own the previous model; do we have a similar analysis for the previous model?
-
I love these suspension videos

Front caliper is an Akebono Unit and the rear is a Brembo

Thats a lot of expensive to make and later maintain parts just to share the same road with beat up nissan altimas with speed limit of 55mph. Lol. But I like the review. Every car review should be like this. I dont want some guy talking about exterior styling and infotainmet settinga for 30min. Any halfwit could do that. But this right here takes real knowledge, the kind your average consumer doesn't have

I like that they are using a top and bottom duel pivot on the front suspension. Not only is handling improved, but wear is also reduced.

Will the new tyre sizes fit on the pre face lift (at all suspension heights ? ) old 285/40/21 vs new 285/45/21
-
does it look like they changed anything else geometry wise compared to the 2023 model? I have a q7 based on the same chassis and I wanted to upsize my tires from the 285/40/21 to a 285/45/21
-
Can you do this for the new Maserati grecale trofeo please
-
Do you want your motion ratio close to 100% and why/why not?
-
I'd like to request a look at the F150 Lightning's suspension if that's possible please
-
We're riding with ya.
