I tried this in CapCut and this is probably one of the best and most realistic VHS filter I have ever seen and it's all on one free mobile app! No real VCR needed. Tip: if you want the tape damage to be more subtle, decrease the noise effect im sure this was obvious but anyway.

This actually helps small Analog horror content creator improve the filter.
-
You can also crop the video to 4:3 so that the proportions are correct
-
I donβt think Iβve ever seen a tutorial so accurate before
-
export the video in 30 fps and 720p gives the most realistic vhs video
-
this man is a legend

This is amazing

I'm kinda hoping I can find a way to do this with desktop capcut. The filters and effects are fine, it's just the overlay part I need to work out. (The one when u change saturation and stuff) Also where the hell can you find a photo editor that has blackpoint? Idk if shadows are the same.
-
What do we set the noise to btw

the vhs effect is too high definition, add blur to it and you're fully able to replicate vhs

Thanks dude
-
i cant find the noise effect

Thank you man, it looks great. The only thing I changed though is making the horizontal 49 instead of 45, cause I feel itβs too much. Other than that itβs perfect

THANK YOU!!!
