Absolutely fascinating history! These are the things they never teach you in school, and you're unlikely to hear if you're not in the area. Also loved the bison, old pickup truck, and old gas station. Fantastic trip, and thanks for sharing!

That's a cool little town. My best friends parents live there and raise cattle. I would tag along when he went there to visit them. The town is full of history.

I hope I rolled the intro at the right time! I love bison π¦¬.. if you ever get a chance to go to the Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge near Medicine Park, Oklahoma you can see huge bison in the wild! So cool!
