  • Seriously, how the hell do you come up with "Dogmatic Christian TV personified as a seraph made of TV static that screams recordings of preachers at you as you fight it" as a boss idea. I hope the people making these games get paid well.
  • @MrAuthor3DS
Dogma: A set of rules, beliefs, or opinions laid down by a group, the members of which unquestionably follow it.
  • @CargoCommando
who would have thought the true final boss of isaac would be CHRISTIAN TV!? but no seriously coolest boss ever 11/10
  • @decimace
Dogma is such a fucking awesome boss

I like how the โ€œLiving in the Lightโ€ psalm is used almost as a chorus. The fact that they are actually delivered slightly different lends to the idea that Mom watched so much of this stuff that she was watching different preachers delivering the same psalms.

This boss made me realize how all of Isaacs nightmares are material, only Delirium and Dogma are concepts, the only fights where Isaac faces the actual problem
  • So the voice of god talking to Isaac's mother was a tv preacher all along
  • @krovellium
Early game Isaac lore: My mom put me in a basement :( Late game Isaac lore:

Wow, if this is what Isaac mom watched, no wonder her husband considered her insane.
  • Imagine if Dogma was the only REAL monster. Imagine a fallen angel hiding among the transmissions and the airwaves. Seeking to convince humans that it is God. Manifesting to drive people to perform evil acts in service to it. Isaac can see it, and sees his mother succumb to its maddening influence while being powerless to stop it. He can imagine fighting it and winning, but he can never undo how it destroyed his family.

Good job to whoever Ridiculon got to scream those Bible verses They did a super good job, especially with "BLASPHEMY AGAINST THE HOLY SPIRIT"
  • @Sweettooth1231
Pride, Greed, Wrath, Envy, Lust, Gluttony, Sloth... imagine if he'd summon the 7 deadly sins when that part hits!
  • Fun fact:dogmas sprite will actually start to become fuzzy like it encountered a signal error if you use an item like lodestone and magnetize dogma or itโ€™s tv
  • @muffinman2546
The boss' attack sounds actually made this soundtrack better. This fight's so damn good.

The televangelists screaming overlayed with the guitars create this profoundly chilling effect. It kind of feels like you're going up against the wrath of a vengeful god.
