Life in the coldest place on Earth - Yakutia. I grew up in Yakutsk, our winter usually lasts 7 months a year and normally the temperature is going down to -71 C. But I think it’s an amazing and such a unique place to live. Many people were asking me how our daily life during the winter looks like. So, let me tell and show you our daily life in the coldest place on Earth. Hope you will like it!

Hope you enjoyed watching this video, we have been working hard to create this beautiful little movie to share with you guys 😇 Unfortunately, YouTube has now demonetized my account and they did it without any reason. Just like that. But I want to keep creating, videos about my hometown and how people managed to live in the coldest place on earth. There are so many interesting stories and I was so excited to share it with you guys! I'm planning to post my next videos on my Patreon account until my channel will be resolved. I will be very happy to see you there guys 💙 here is the link: @t Appreciate all your support xx Love, Kiun
  • Thailand, 17 degrees, wife writes to her husband: - dear, I'm frozen, I'll come by bus. Yakutia, -55, wife writes to her husband: - dear, the bus is frozen, I am walking.
  • This is how I imagine people beyond the wall live and eat in Game of thrones.
  • I thought working in negative 30 weather in the Army was rough, man.
  • @jessef88
The coldest I've worked in was -40C and that was cold enough. How they work in -71C is impressive
  • As someone who grew up somewhere tropical, I would rather die than live through that... which I would do by going outside for 3 minutes. Much respect to these hardy people.
  • I cannot imagine being able to survive in temperatures that cold.
  • Imagining people's life in -71°C at Yakutia and 50°C at UAE. What a great crazy world we are living.
  • I live in Finland and the coldest temperature which I have experienced has been -40 Celsius. Last winter it was sometimes -35. Now it is -20. So lovely warm...
  • Watching this video makes me even more grateful for living in my tropical place
  • I work with -80C freezers at work every day - I cannot imagine essentially being inside one of those for months at a time.

So cool that there are so many traditional meals with frozen food! The climate around us rly influences everything :)
  • Both informative and enjoyable. Thank you for sharing your unique life experience growing up in the coldest place on earth.
  • I was feeling cold in the UK 1°C when I listened to this, then suddenly I felt quite warm again.
  • I used to live near that area in the town called Tynda (Amurskaya region). The normal mornings for us was -43C. And when the temperatures were plummeting to -50C the school was closing down because the central heating iron made wall heaters were exploding (the hot water that’s inside was freezing fast and causing the explosion). We didn’t go to school for 3 months at that time.
  • Hi Kiun! My name is Glen from the Philippines. My country is exactly the opposite from yours. I can't imagine how cold it is up there! I cannot even stand the cold here when temperature reaches 18degress celsius! I am so thrilled and impressed on how you live your life. I may not cope with the cold there & just stay indoors or something. Stay safe always and I really enjoy your content. Thank you! 😊

I'm adding Yakutsk into my "places to visit before I die" list. Thanks for sharing this Kiun!
  • I can't imagine living in such a cold place, while I live in a tropical country just touching the ice feels like my hands are numb, I'm very amazed
  • Thank you for the video. Wishing everyone having a safe warm life there. I experienced some cold winter here in United States but nothing compare to the extreme winter like this. God bless you
