But how can you get a good image from a Super Nintendo??
The Retrotink 2x Pro provides line doubling so 240p is scaled to 480p, which makes the signal readable on many more tv sets. Using Hdretrovision cables you will get superior component quality to send through the tink.
This will not scale to 1080p like a super nt or ossc will supply, however this may be a viable solution for you and is also easy plug and play!

Please check your local suppliers to pick these products up. For the UK I recommend 8BitMods for cables and RetroTink direct from manufacturer via Ebay. In my experience these companies will ship the product from local warehouse without incurring additional int. taxes.
If you're wanting a higher resolution please check out the OSSC which will function with RGB outputting consoles.
Please note: if your hdtv does not accept lower 240p range signals then the hdretrovision cables will not work alone even if the set has component inputs. A tink will give the upscale to 480p range which then will work in this scenario.

Good stuff! I've definitely been thinking about getting a RetroTink. Looks like it works well! As for the cables, the SNES uses the same video output port as the N64 and Gamecube. Would those component cables work with those consoles?
