Hello from usa. I always liked the lada the first time I saw it many years ago. The older cars never go out of style. Great tour!
  • No one will ever accuse the Soviets of producing cars with any sense of style. "Nuevo Clunk" is the hallmark of soviet design. Interesting video.
  • 3:52 ahh yes. the old Soviet Kenwood radio. A staple for every respectable automobile driver in the CCCP ☭
  • Shows how well built they were! The Lada Niva has never been bettered!
  • We must be kindred spirits. When I was younger I went to some old car shows ( American ) and loved it. I recently bought a dodge challenger and a big selling point for me was the retro styling. Thank you for the tour of auto history in the ussr. ❤❤❤
  • That's a great tour of these old cars. I love getting all the backstories for these models, along with the fun footage.

Greetings from California. Wonderful video, Thank you!

Loved this video, well made interesting and full of good information. Everyone I know who ever owned a Lada loved it. Here in the UK you can buy a long wheelbase pickup based on the Niva although you don’t see many.

This is awesome! Nice to get that historical perspective. Great job on the video!
  • Great video..........! Thanks for sharing. Hello from Canada....
  • Thanks to you tube having people like yourself showing us these cars we may never have seen in the usa, i noticed theres a lot of people in the baltic states selling old soviet era vehicles to the west...i love the old, old moskvitch and volgas, but, as soon as i started asking about import and costs, the damn war started over there and transport became almost impossible. I had to wind up getting a VW....oh well, maybe someday.....
  • A very interesting and well put together video, Thank you from Australia

Being from the Midwest of the United States, one generally does not see Soviet cars. [ although in 1960 the Skoda Octavia was imported very briefly]. Even as a kid, I sort of prided myself on knowing all the cars of the world [pretty much]. I was with 2 of my friends and we were walking to a local shopping center [ Clayton Missouri, St.Louis County]. When we got to the parking lot we saw a black Limousine. Charlie said it was a Cadillac, Al, said “No, it’s a Lincoln”. I looked hard at it. “It’s a ZIL - Russian❗️”. They looked at me like I was insane. What would a Russian Limousine be doing in St.Louis? We got up to it. Sure enough, it had Russian writing on it. But it was a Chaika‼️. It was a beautiful car. Much looked like a Packard, only really dressed up. We never saw the owner or driver, and never learned what it was doing there, but since then, I’ve always been interested in Soviet cars. Great video. I hope you make more like this. Well done, and fun. 🚗🙂

Cool to see all these old cars! That video "now you know how to treat a Lada" was shot in Stockholm Sweden, right where I live. Kinda funny coincidence
  • @Emppu_T.

  • I love antiques from Soviet times. I'd love to get my hands on an old soviet Lada here in the states. 🤤
  • @hopkin2006
I love those classic cars. It would be nice if their companies offered automatic transmission options for them as well.

In Poland we have the FSO Warszawa m20 and it was under license from the Soviets, it was the first car mass produced after ww2
  • I love soviet cars.👍🏻👍🏻😍 Greetings from East Germany.😉✌🏻
