I’m back for the bedroom. My husband was a painting contractor for over 35 years. Ben Moore was his go to paint. I notice you use the same spray paint I use, too. We are about to repaint our house White Dove, my husband’s favorite. We’ve had a putty color for 10 years and I need to brighten up the house now that we’re getting “elderly”! Gotta love hiccups! I put a small moon light on the bedside table in the guest room. I love the large hanging one! So, so, so cool!!! I want one. I was just telling my daughter about your curtain technique! I think I’m going to try them for myself. I’ll start in the master bedroom to test it out. I’m guessing you’re going to paint the closet door handles black. This is such a sophisticated boy’s bedroom. Very cool! I am so loving this room! Brilliant solution with the shirt and quote! Yay! I got the closet door handles right! 😊 “God is in the details!!!” Absolutely awesome redo. I’m dying to see your son’s reaction. I hope we do! Great football play pillow! I’m so excited. I just finished your fabulous transformation of your sister’s house. Now I get to see you work your magic on your own. You are inspiring me as I am in the process of making changes in my own. I do not know your plan for the wall where the mirror is, so now I am really excited! I love the color! It’s such instant gratification to watch a room get repainted. I had to laugh when I saw you with one foot on the ladder and one on the counter. I was painting my son’s rental apartment for a new renter who was moving in. My son walked in after work and found me (4’ 10”) with one foot on the ladder and one on the kitchen counter. He exclaimed, “What do you think you’re doing?” I said, “Cutting in the kitchen ceiling!” I was 72. 😊 I’m with you on the black! And the bare feet. I think we must be kindred spirits. I painted my front door interior black 3 years ago so it would be more dramatic. You enter into an open concept great room and I wanted to make it stand out. My son and I played Might & Magic on the computer when he was a teenager. We loved it! Now, my husband and I live in Florida and when I go north to visit him in New Hampshire, we work on jigsaw puzzles together. My daughter and two granddaughters are in Massachusetts and we seem to do more shopping and eating out. I hate them being so far away, but we text daily and FaceTime. I am LOVING this room! I have not guessed the wall change yet. A stencil pattern or mural? OMG! That’s going to be a lot of work, but how awesome when it’s put together. That rug is gorgeous! It looks brand new! What a find. You are SO creative! It’s such a pleasure watching your videos. I’m going to share them with my daughter and granddaughters. I think they will love you as well as your creativity. OMG! The map is awesome! The whole room is stunning! I absolutely love it!!! ❤ Shirley

You 2 work together so well and have such fun. I love what you have done to your home. What I like to is that you give tips so that other people can try those in their home. You do a fantastic job. My friend is a painter, he gave us a tip,to have your primer tinted. Even if your paint has primer in it, It's cheaper to buy. tinted primer and put that on instead of having buy an extra gallon of paint, especially if you are going from dark to light or light to dark. It makes all the difference in the world. I know it has helped so much here. I know that's what the paint stores have suggested to us. So I didn't know if you have ever heard that. I have 3 sons. When my youngest son was 13, I had my daughter. My oldest has always liked lightet colors, To this day, he is still the same. When you were painting the blue on your oldest son's wall, that was my middle son. His whole room was a shade of dark blue. It actually was really pretty, but it was not fun to try to paint over when my youngest son moved in that room. One time, my daughter wanted this neon green, I said to her, "Are you sure she was not quite a teenager yet. We started painting it, and her room glowed, and then she realized it was not the color she wanted. Lol That was probably the hardest color to paint over that. I've ever done in all my years of painting. You are so right about learning to trim, My mom has always had that ability it took me a little longer. But for the last 25 years, I have arthritis. And I can't trim so easily anymore. Oh, how I missed that. When you were doing the loft, the game area that wall turned out great. That map is something I've not seen before. It is really awesome.. I am thinking about talking to one of my family members of doing that in our extra room. It is so fun to see what you are doing. Step-by-step, it all looks fantastic. Liam's room remind me of something my grandsons Would like I'm gonna have my daughter and mom look at this video. The lava lamp brought back memory. Yes, a couple of my kids had them they love them. My daughter I think might still have hers. Happy New Year, and I am looking forward to the things you do in the future.

Had to watch this one again. I am a die hard Kansas City fan as well. Go Chiefs! The chemistry and team work between you and Kyle makes your videos so much better.

I enjoyed watching these again. Such a great job on the rooms!! I think its always sweet to look back at the changes. Kids grow up so fast! I can't believe I have watched your kids grow up, they were just little guys, yesterday! I am not sure I can pick a favorite. I love what you did with all the color blocking and that you did something different in each room. Well done!!

So, this vlog is 3months old…. I started following you yrs ago, when you were in Utah, and I lived in Michigan. (With no plans of ever moving. Lived there my whole life) Then you moved to AZ. Shortly after that, my husbands job took us to AZ! I am in Queen Valley, I always hope when I go “into town” I might see you!

I have seen all these videos before so I can honestly say I did not watch it all the way through. I did however fast forward to see the before/afters of each room as a reminder. LOVE them ALL

I've been watching you for awhile now... and your boys have definitely grown so much! It's so nice to see you and your husband do all of this for your boys. It seems before you know it... they'll be off to college... & married... & having their own kids. Time flies! 😢

Love the 2 TV's side by side. We are a gaming family as well, and it has kept my kids ( now young adults) close to us. Everything you said I can relate to because we started off the same way in separate rooms, now we are all in the den with the same set up ❤
