  • There's something about Edward and Toby I absolutely love yes people see them as the old grandpas of the fandom but they always show the other engines what they can do every time they tease them and make fun of them but they always manage to do the job in style.

I like to think that all of Edward’s troubles at Brendam Docks in this story motivated The Fat Controller to purchase a permanent harbor shunter, leading to the events of “Salty’s Secret”.
  • I love how realistic the smoke that comes out the engine's funnels look like actual model trains!
  • This is one of the best stories I have seen. Toby and Edward are two old engines that share a lot in common. I do like how Bill and Ben tried to help, but ended up making things worse. Boco really is a great asset to the team. I loved the 'Postman Pat' inspired theme at the beginning 😁.

It’s odd seeing Toby working on another line we often see him working on the Farquhar line and knapford it’s nice to see him go to different parts of the NWR I mean he did travel across half the country to get to the island
  • I have said this on rusted wheel’s adaptation but I personally see this buried truck story as an explanation to leading sir topham Hatt buying salty.

I find myself singing Toby’s song whenever I hear the music.

This is how you write a Toby story! HIT, Mattel, TAKE NOTES!

This just felt so right. In an era where on the internet, everything has to be fast paced and be the length of a blink of an eye, it’s sojust nice to have something so slow and cozy feeling. Once again you have proven yourself a phenomenal video maker, everything just felt so right. the season 2 aesthetic is great, the slow and gradual pace of the episode is just comfy to me personally, and overall a fantastic adaptation. Although i’m curious now, with toby here at Brendam, who’s working on the tramway? I would love it if someone wrote a story about Thomas or Percy working on the tramway, but one of them would have to get side plates and cow catcher and shenanigans pursues. now that would be a fun… sequel i don’t know what you would call that.
  • Let’s ask The Buried Truck to write a story of Duck meeting Bill and Ben when he was working at Wellsworth after Diesel framed him

That face really does look like Toby from Bedford Place, Rockdale!

This is insanely well made. I love the authenticity of the shot compositions and even the camera's movements. I was honestly surprised how visually close to model era Thomas this production is. I do not know if you use Trainz or some other simulator but this could've been made with blender in my opinion. Keep it up, you are making genuinely good work and I wish the show took this direction as well.

my favorite adaptation of this story to date, there’s something unique about your videos. I can always recognize your work, sweat a wonderful little story too! Hope to see more from you in the future!

this was great, i've been dying to see a story with edward and toby together its a pairing i want to see more people do. after this video i'd love to see a story where the the harbour goes back into to how it was at the start of this video and it leads into salty's arrival

The moment you finally see 3:41 Daisy and BoCo at the same time

Your channel is criminally underrated. You've just got yourself a new subscriber :)
