I read and studied these principles when I was in my twenties. Now in my seventies, I again studied them. Although I had forgotten most of them I found that I had applied most and had been living them instead, Had I reviewed and re-applied them in my forties or early fifties I would have advanced greatly. As it is now I have lived a full and spiritual life. In retrospect, I am able to see the areas where I made mistakes and I could have improved. I am in anticipation of an even better eighties.

Loneliness is the price we pay… except I don’t feel lonely. I cherish my alone time. I’m still taking great pleasure in learning even though I am in my eighties.

This is great advice, and at 66 I can honestly say had I known and followed a lot of these words of wisdom I'd have avoided a hell of a lot of misery and heartache in my life.

At the age of 43 my eyes are open. I was the ppl pleaser I always said yes. I expected too much from the ppl who so called love me. And those same ppl turned their backs on me. Boy what a wake up call this video is on time. Im never lonely just alone. I dont have that friend word its too much hard work keeping a true friend. So I am my true friend. And Ion hate a soul. And Im content with never going back to anyone who had me uneasy. THIS VIDEO IS A GEM.

I seemed to have lost family and friends after an injury and I couldn’t help everyone anymore. Funny how that works. I’m a natural giver , not a sucker anymore .

I've always been a loner, and for good reasons. I'm hated for being self efficient, masculine, handsome, with a bit of charisma and mystic. Things that some men either love or hate in a other men. Yes, I would rather be left alone. I was out there "trying to come to my own" as a young man, but had it all along. Just didn't know it until I had gotten older and realized I have a light, a light that they want to extinguish. I regret I didn't see it when I was younger.
  • Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths!

As a male aged 59, I wish I had taken heed of quotes like these. I excelled in sales for most of my life, in sales you broadly speaking listen to what people want then eloquently fulfil their needs which is great, however a people pleaser has similar traits, and I tried to please all those in my social life and relationships at the detriment of my needs. I’ve finally got it … These words are like gold dust

I was brought into this world alone and I will die alone I have learned how to do the impossible by myself. With the Lords help not people .❤❤❤

At the age of 71, I’m still learning and try to avoid making mistakes. By applying these quotes into my life has helped me improve myself esteem, be more selective when it comes to friends. There’re always lessons to learn. Some can be painful and some can be grateful. Thank you ❤

I recently came across a study that said that gratitude and anxiety use the same arena in our brain, and can't simultaneously occur. We are wired with the capacity for our choices to immediately affect us, haha, this is not a profound statement, but a true one. Let's remain grateful. I am happy to have been included in on this life. I know we are living in a backwards world during backwards times, but such is the backdrop we were given, and against such a backdrop, living in a truthful manner in alignment with goodness and beauty will help contrast against the stark magnificence of living well in times of turmoil. Let's ensure we are generating enough love to sustain ourselves and those around us. Hold God close, and radiate that invincible spiritual force.
