The guy operating the sonar is my nephew who passed away many years ago,I like to watch this episode so I can see him and hear his voice.
-
Why do I torture myself watching these. They NEVER give real answers.
-

This show floods my nostalgic emotions ❤ Watching this with dad while we ate nachos, how the time flies, I miss you dad.
-
That guy has 40 hours footage, why did we only see the same 3 clips?
-
Monster Quest's record of proving absolutely nothing remains intact.
-
I like how the videos they show of the sea monster is actually seable and clear and not blurry and fake

man i remember loving this show as a kid. yeah i know it’s garbage, but it’s still fun to watch from time to time. the 3d renders were always my favorite bits. i love how poorly they aged which only makes them better.

Bring this show back. Do extended weeks on one location. Use new tech.

More networks should put their old shows (specifically the shows that didn't get full season releases) on YouTube because a lot of amazing shows are either impossible to find on streaming services or are missing episodes.

An animal that is similar to the manatee is the dugong ( Dugong: dugon ).These manatee cousins are found in the Indian and Pacific oceans and were once native to the water of Florida. They have a notch in their tails making them easier to differentiate from their manatee cousins, as well as tusks similar to a Walrus but much smaller. Dugongs are still alive in Asian waters and have also been spotted off the coastal waters of Africa and Australia in recent years but haven't been seen in Florida in many decades. This is what I believe them to be with that tail, longer snout, and slightly bigger eyes they have to be a Dugong returning to the waters of Florida. I believe they are returning and showing up in other waters because of them being hunted in the Asian waters making them look for other places to live but I could be wrong.

Drop a pole with large bait!!! You have the sonnar!! Maybe a big net!! The money that goes into finding a monster always has puzzled me!

I remember watching this years ago, it’s cool seeing it again. This is an older show that’s just been uploaded for people talking about using drones or other similar technologies. This aired in like 2008 I think

Please keep adding more episodes 😊 it’s been wonderful rediscovering this show during quarantine!

This is real I live in Florida and have seen it but no one believed me, I was cleaning a rich lady’s pool by the lake that runs into the ocean and I saw it coming from the lake headed to the ocean
-
I love how the episode begins in a lagoon and ends in a completely different environment

Jeremy Wade let's get on this!

not a manatee just by the behavior - whatever it is is hunting not grazing. Manatees are slow and this thing is way faster and the sudden splashing and diving are not grazing activities. also the tail is wrong even a shredded manatee tail doesn't look like this - moves really fast and head is the size of a polar bear's. Not a seal either based on length of snout and tail. Seals have double flippers and even monk seals have double flippers. No idea but not a seal or a manatee.
-
I feel sorry that the manatee got its tail chopped by some careless boater.

Just think people thought the platypus was a mythical creature like a Unicorn or Dragon till they found it, makes you think what other mythical creatures may be real
