  • They not only play music, they create a mood; mysterious, haunting perfection...one of a kind..
  • One of those songs that shows how important John Paul Jones was to the group. He is the quiet zeppelin.

I guess you know now why the 70's is the absolutely greatest era ever in the history of music......end of story. This is what we listened to every day among a plethora of mind-blowing and soul-searching compositions from morning to midnight......as whatever was your pleasure for the moment. We lived life like each day was worth discovery and it was fantastic to be alive. You can dig deeply into the 70's music and never tire of it......regardless of the band or genre. You would not believe my album collection......you would just not believe it. Steven from Texas.

Best band ever. More than 1/2 century after they arrived no band got closer. Too damn great, out of adjectives to try to describe a bit of Zeppelin magic, timeless!!
  • One of the best improvised live guitar solos you will ever hear. Today I was at the produce stand near my house and I heard Black Dog playing on somebody's phone. I looked around to figure out who it was and it was a 10ish-year-old African-American girl dancing away to Led Zeppelin. If that doesn't show you the range of people that they affect, for 54 years and counting, I don't know what else it would take. Truly amazing.
  • It’s like each individual band member is worth 3 of their contemporaries, such power, never heard anything like this band, they have no equal 🇬🇧👍
  • Led Zeppelin does not plug in to amplifiers Led Zeppelin plugs in to your SOUL ❤
  • Page's finest solo of all time. It's lyrical and fluid and just drenched with emotion. Simply perfect.....
  • They were on fire that night in MSG when they played this. All elements in synch and one of Page's finest solos. What a song. What a performance.
  • 4 dedicated masters of their craft pouring their soul into their passion = timeless

John Paul Jones is the crazy glue of Zeppelin. He holds it all down. This is a great song, especially when the winds of Thor are blowing cold.
  • Simply the most phenomenal rock band to ever take the stage. 😎
  • @erlstone
LZ's versions of prog rock are never "cold" or "tricky"... they still hold melodies, riffs, builds, logical rises and falls.. so they become so pleasurable to listen to.. as well as being able to be so "on the edge" or avante garde... I think it's JPJ's influence of classical music that roots it all.
  • @aandpman
...And fyi... JPJ wasn't just playing kb with his hands... he was also playing the bass par with his feet on the pedals.. phenomenal talent.
  • My favorite Jimmy Page solo I've ever heard, live or on vinyl he just kills it. Like it so much I named my daughter Paige. Just send chills the pull-offs the tension the release the tension builds again he just f**** kills it! Can't forget about Bonham. I like it so much I learned it

Proof again ! That Led Zeppelin is the greatest rock band ever.! How about Page's guitar solo ? Rebeka, You should just buy this DVD. It's titled The Song Remains the Same

This is one of the most captivating live performances that I have ever seen. The album version is amazing, but this surpasses it.
  • @rutssy
One of the greatest songs ever recorded in my opinion
  • This live version is the best concert performance ever captured as far as I'm concerned and Pages solo is the best one I've ever heard. No Quarter to me is the hightlight of the movie as crazy as that sounds with other songs more well known like Stairway, The Rain Song, Dazed and Confused and Whole lot of Love.
  • I still remember the first time l heard this tune. Hanging out with my cousin lava lamp, black light, 500 Watt stereo and a nice chunk of blonde hash. Life altering time for sure.
