Big stepper and driver powered up!

If you disconnect the ground (at your own risk!) from ATX power supplies, you can chain them together to achieve higher output voltages. Here I've chained 2 together (+12V from one into "ground" of the other) to get 24VDC. That upgraded voltage goes into a TB-6560 stepper driver set at 2A. The result is an impressively fast RPM on my big 3v 3A steppers (obtained from old line/mainframe printers).
