What? The child should have known they were being recorded? Did I hear that right? Why? Because everyone should expect that in an airplane bathroom? That’s RIDICULOUS!

What lawyers would file this. I’d like their names. What creeps.

Well, if I was in charge of the marketing department of a competing airline, my first move would be to release an advertisement stating that our bathrooms don't include cameras.

WTF. As an adult i would have never thought i would be recorded in an airplane bathroom. A child would have even less expectation
  • @aaronwilson5881
Somebody's trying to avoid paying money out to the victims that wasn't a mistake.

Are there recording devices in bathrooms?? I'm not a child and I WOULD NOT HAVE KNOWN! 🤔

Hell of an "error", that law firm just lost a ton of business. And the settlement from American just went up.

American, if your hired attorneys represent you . Get ready to pay up. You can sue your attorneys for the injury they caused to your business by the poor representation later.

Wait are they saying the toilets should be expected to have cameras 🤨

They're changing their story because of backlash. Period. Disgusting company. I won't be flying with them.

Jesus, how are you supposed to blame a nine-year-old? How are these children supposed to trust adults when a corporation is blaming the Child give me a freaking break.

American Airlines is liable for any crimes that their employees commit against the passengers. They're just trying to weasel out of the liability.

American Airlines should be better informed…and should have made extreme effort to ensure that all bathrooms were clear of the recording devices..check and recheck. And check again.
  • @tracycase4520
Do you need to ask the flight attendants if the toilets are free of cameras? Or is that an extra fee.
  • @tayzonday
They need insurance to cover the risk of their insurance company’s behavior 😱

No no no, they don't get to say "it was an error". You really tried blaming a kid for not being aware that some creepo employee of yours was secretly recording them in the bathroom. Just having the thought "it's the kid's fault" is insane enough, but to write it out and send it to a court.......what in the actual hell?!?
