I have broken a PSP with Dark Resurrection... Played hundreds of hours, and learned my main, Lili, while traveling on buses and trains, and it is still one of the best memories with the PSP to this day. Happy times, man...

This game is just so incredibly nostalgic for me, I remember switching on my PS2 and just spending hours playing in front of my TV. The intro cinematic is one of the best ones in the Tekken franchise and the soundtrack is still the GOAT.

The point where I became an Asuka main, and almost 20 years that I'm waiting for her to have any relevance in the story. 😂

Tekken 5 had one of my favourite all time stages, the Moonlit Cotton stage never ceased to amaze me and make me happy to fight in.
  • When I saw Jinpachi I thought he was going to be more evil than Heihachi, but I was shocked to find out that the dude wasn't evil at all.... And Heihachi locked him in a basement lmao.

Something that many people doesn't know is that after the failure of Tekken 4, Harada left Namco.... He took the failure of Tekken 4 personally because it affected the salaries of his colleagues and employees. Until one of Harada's ex bosses convinced him to return to create Tekken 5 Harada put all his efforts to make the ultimate Tekken game. Edit: If you want more info about Tekken 5 development. Just look at the video made by Segredos Dos Games It is in portuguese but you can activate the english subtitles
  • T5 just aged so well. For a game that game out early 2004. There's so much love put in the game, the music is in my opinion is some of the best in the series. Ground Zero funk is super underrated and honestly is the perfect OST for the Mishima/kazama feud. Jinpachi is still the best final boss cause he actually was an interesting character, giving more insight into mishimas past. The main thing that I appericate about this game is the roster. There was a decent amount. They brought back legacy characters (tag tournament is more a fan service scenario) and made them fun to play with.

As a kid(11yo) I absolutely loved Devil Within mode! For maybe a year I was stuck on the first stage and didn't know it went further, so I dropped it for a time, but then I realized you could progress, and man did I love that shit.

Honestly the thing that keeps me playing Tekken 5 is the introduction of the ranking system

Cannot wait for Max to get to Tag 2. Easily one of my favorite fighting games to ever be developed.

This game is what made me a Tekken fan. The intro, the gameplay, the modes, the soundtrack, and pretty much everything that this game had made me stick with the franchise and still is my favorite game in the franchise.
