In case you were wondering.... Spicoli rescued Brooke Shields from drowning... Then spent the reward money having Van Halen play his birthday party.

Saw Fast Times in theatres for the 35th anniversary last year. I was the only one in there and man, I gotta tell ya the theatre experience for this movie was second to none. It was like I was seeing it for the first time all over again. Masterpiece.

“I know that dude” lmao best line in this scene
  • I'am so glad that I got to grow up in that era, and see that movie in a theater. I still have my ticket stub. 56 years old and that is the greatest movie ever.

People are so down on Sean Penn, but I find him really sharp and funny on talk shows.

I watch Fast Times for one thing only: Phoebe Cates getting out of the pool!
  • @webman1956
They say that Penn drove everyone on the set crazy because he stayed in character all the time no matter whether the tape was rolling or not.

So what Jefferson was saying, "If we don't leave this England place, and get some cool rules ourselves, then we'll just be bogus too!"

I was 12 years old when Fast Times At Ridgemont High came out.Watched it at least 100 times when it came on cable during the summer of 1983! One of my favorite movies of all time...
  • As an 80s kid, I can't believe that I hadn't seen this movie until today. Loved it.
