Anthony Ballard on Staying Connected to the Source

Passionate about illustration and cartooning since middle school, Anthony Ballard honed his skills and made art his professional freelance career in his 20s. His most notable work includes a piece featured in the 2021 Super Bowl for the NFL. Now, he is a published illustrator of two children's books: 'Cully and Mila: Halloween' and 'The Tales of Chance and the Faithful Few,' with more projects on the horizon. Anthony aspires to create original stories and characters that bring joy and excitement, emulating the impact of the many books, comics, and movies that inspire him.
In addition to his artistic pursuits, Anthony is an adept director in nonprofit organizations and an effective public speaker on diverse and challenging topics. As part of the preaching team at Bellevue Presbyterian Church, he also serves as the Director of Discipleship. Anthony was born and raised in Compton, California, now resides in Renton, Washington, with his wife, Sarah.
