ABOUT GHOST OF TSUSHIMA
In the late 13th century, the Mongol empire has laid waste to entire nations along their campaign to conquer the East. Tsushima Island is all that stands between mainland Japan and a massive Mongol invasion fleet led by the ruthless and cunning general, Khotun Khan. As the island burns in the wake of the first wave of the Mongol assault, samurai warrior Jin Sakai stands as one of the last surviving members of his clan. He is resolved to do whatever it takes, at any cost, to protect his people and reclaim his home. He must set aside the traditions that have shaped him as a warrior to forge a new path, the path of the Ghost, and wage an unconventional war for the freedom of Tsushima.

Seriously, Sucker Punch was spot on with everything: story, artists, designers, and of course the musicians. What gem of a final game to close one of Sony's finest eras.

I remember my first horse was white and called Nobu to represent Jin's honor. But when Nobu died along with Jin's honor I chose the black one and named it Kage.

"I will make sure you are remembered, a wise leader, and a father." "Thank you, my son. Find me, in the next life" "I will." Never has a game put me in so much emotion as this before

I think I found this fight so damn difficult because I didnt WANT to fight Lord Shimura. I wanted to fight Ryuzo, I wanted to fight Khotun. I spent the first few minutes just defending and evading, hoping maybe it would be time-gated.

SPOILERS FOR ENDING SCENE: how I saw the spare vs kill: spare: Following Jin's code, which was that it was morally wrong to kill his uncle as he loved him. kill: Following Shimura's warrior code, an act of honor and duty. I chose spare. Jin no longer abides by the Samurai code, he puts his morals above it, and loves his uncle too much to bear killing him. Either way, no ending is truly good. They are both tragedies in their own rights.
