Corey, I started watching you awhile back not being to keep anything alive. I was determined to learn from you as much as I could. Now I have alot of containers filled with beautiful growing plants. The neighbors are always asking me how I'm getting my plants to look that good. Corey, your my secret weapon!! Thank you for helping me become a better gardener. Plus your gentle sweet personality has a soothing effect on someone. Thank you so much.
  • Appreciate your kind way of speaking on these videos Corey. You are a joy to listen to and you give tons of useful information in a generous and humble manner!

Thanks for answering my question. I was surprised to hear you call my name! You should host an in-person Q&A. How fun of an afternoon would that be! Thanks for helping us be better gardeners!

😂 I laughed at your story about the person who wouldn’t admit to using fertilizer. I once had a neighbor who was obsessed with his tomatoes-I saw him fertilizing them once and asked him about it and you would have thought I caught him doing something illegal. He was very evasive and seemed to want to be sure I wouldn’t tell anyone. He had great crops, but I don’t think he wanted to share the secret of his success. I do believe he competed with some family members to get the most tomatoes.

I love when you do Q&A. Very helpful when everyday people have problems with certain things in their gardens. You give very informative answers and glad I discovered your videos. In Rockford, Mi and love to garden:
  • Corey, this is the first year I've dealt with earwigs, so I really appreciated hearing about the products you've had good luck using. I love these Q&As because I often get answers to questions I haven't even asked. Most of the gardeners I know are the most helpful and generous folks on the planet. Blessings to you and your loved ones.

Thank you for another great video. Yes, I feel like we're friends and that you could stop over anytime and we'd just talk. Social media is funny like that. Re: some of the questions: It's all about the soil too. I think the roots in a peat pot have to fight that peat. They dry out too quickly for me and I don't use them but others seem to love them.

This year I’ve been using your tips including using proven winners supervista bubblegum petunias ( plus a scented begonia, lantanas and coleus) ALONG WITH faithful watering & regular infusions of fertilizer. My containers have never looked so good!! 😊 Thanks, Corey!

Thanks for this Q+A. I really enjoyed it❣

When you are talking about different plants and it relates to my plant issue. I would be shaking my head in agreement. It is so funny. I know you cannot see me, but you speak to us like we are right there with you.

Hi Corey! Great advice, thanks for your help and time😊
  • Ahhhh, I can’t stop commenting!!! Up town there’s gigantic cauldrons full of Supertunia vista Bubblegum and Jazzberry I think. Anyways I literally told the townies that tend them they need to feed them more because they should be overflowing and almost hiding the big pots they’re in. I said trust me, I’ve been educated by the best and you’re starving these plants 😅 Then I said petunias are fertilizer w****s. Then I picked a little piece of one and said look, it’s thin and flimsy and can’t hold up it’s own head. Then I said gotta go see Corey and talk to him about these plants. (They think I meant Mr. Corey that owns half our town 😎🙌🏻). Then this girl walked away like a boss ✌🏻
  • As with many of your viewers I love and enjoy your content. I live in Texas in Zone 8 so far away. As you mentioned in a video a while back so much of the skills and advice will work in all the areas. I have really enjoyed your Q & A’s along with the video where you let us know more about yourself and your family. Please keep the content coming. Christina PS I’m praying for Liam’s Mom every day.

All I can say is, we might get down to -40 Celsius here in zone 3 , but we don’t have to deal with earwigs! 😲. Thanks Corey, you’re always full of such great advice and reassurance! 🇨🇦👏❤️

I love your videos. I'm a recent subscriber to your channel. I live in Idaho and I have grown gardens for years. It's usually cooler where I live so I have adjusted what I plant to fit the climate but in the last two or three years it has become hotter and hotter. Around 90% of my plants are perennials and always had great success with them. I struggled quite a bit last summer with the heat increases but this year it has been ferocious. Almost all of my flowers have already finished blooming. This is at least a month sooner than usual. I see no end in sight. I have already cut back almost all of my plants because of the heat. I am looking at massively reducing my gardens next year. It is heartbreaking but I see no alternative. Anyway, keep up the great work. I love your honesty. 🌹🌻🌼

Another great educational video. I especially appreciated the advice re: earwigs. For some reason I have had quite the infestation this year. (First time I have noticed them being a problem).
