Larry: "Coach, just give me the ball and tell everyone to get out of the way." K.C. Jones: "Shut up Larry, I'm running the team! Everyone give the ball to Larry and get out of his way!"

Larry bird never talked trash, he predicted the future!
  • “Hey Frank! You have anybody on that bench that can guard me?” “No” 🤣🤣🤣
  • In 1985, the Boston Celtics legend had arguably the greatest game of his career, almost recording a quadruple-double in a blowout win over the Utah Jazz. Bird only played 33 minutes, logging 30 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists, and 9 steals. When asked why he sat out the 4th Quarter, he said "I've done enough damage". Larry was a Savage ...
  • "Why you putting a white guy on me?" "It's disrespectful!"--Larry Bird-A White Guy 😂😂😂😂

This why Larry Bird in my top 5 all time favorites. He was a great trashtalker, and his skill backed him up to make him unstoppable on both fronts.

I don't even like basketball, but can't get enough of Larry Bird highlights. Legend.

Basketball was dying before Bird and Magic. They saved the game of basketball and gave us the best era of basketball when it was still a team sport.
  • He called me Holmes, lol. Larry played with black guys everyday after school. Larry didn't see color. Such a great guy. I love all these older players now, they so chilled and cool. Great bunch of guys.

Back when trashtalkers could back it up in the court 🤟🏿
  • Larry was the bad guy when I was a kid. As a man I realize he was and is a pure treasure. He made everyone run home and tune in to every game. Thank you Larry you made the NBA great.

Larry was slow, but he also moved so efficiently that it looked weird. He had no wasted movement and always seemed to mentally be 1-2 steps ahead of his competition, no matter who it was. He isnt the best, but he was one of the greats. Still one of the most unique players in the game

He revived the Celtics and the NBA at the same time with his clutch plays and fierce rivalries. GOAT.

Great to see Dominique Wilkins on here. My favorite player growing up. The 1980's NBA was unbelievably fun.

I’m 25 so never saw Bird play. But hearing these stories, there’s something magical about him. Truly Larry “legend”. That’s why he’s unanimous top 10 player of all time
