“High” crime area? Is Earl 80% of the “High” crime.

They knew he wasn't trespassing after the FIRST arrest; every subsequent arrest was either malice or extreme incompetence.

It should also be noted: even though the cameras were only installed in 2011/2012, the owner has been by Earl’s side, fighting for him from the very beginning. He’d known Earl since he was 14, and knew he was an upstanding guy. He’d tried multiple times to report the injustice for multiple individuals targeted, but was only met with harsher profiling. What’s worse for Earl, he ultimately had to plead guilty to all the trespassing charges… in order to get out of jail… for something which was literally proven to be an abuse of the system. His record was expunged later on, but that’s not even close to the point.

The owner installed cameras because of the police, you dont hear that much.
  • Credit to the store owner that didn't fire Earl to stop this but instead, he bought a security cam to catch the police!

"Kinda slow day today, sergeant. What should we do?" "Earl?" "Earlllllllll"
  • “It’s a high crime area” so they spend most of their time arresting the same innocent guy instead of actually fighting crime

New recruit criteria: 1. Pass police academy 2. Arrest Earl

When earl dies, the cops are gonna show up to his funeral and arrest him for public indecency.

So they arrest this guy 56 times for doing nothing wrong... Then use the statistics of 56 arrests to patrol his neighborhood even more.
  • You know it's a problem when business owners have to put cameras in their businesses to protect themselves from the police.
  • @finlayl2505
Cop1: It's been pretty quiet tonight Cop2: Want to go arrest earl again? Cop1: You know it

"The store owner installed security cameras to catch the police" I'm dying over here, this is what it's coming to.

"Statistically, one American is arrested every 58 seconds -- and tonight we're going to meet him."

the owner is amazing for supporting his employee and even buying the surveillance cameras in order to protect him, boss of the year award 👊

This is the most specific form of racism I've ever seen. It's Earlism.

56 trespassing arrests at his place of employment and NOBODY at the police department/courthouse thought that was suspicious???
  • Y’know after like the 3rd or 4th time of cops getting called on earl at his place of work, you’d think they’d be like “oh that’s earl, he works there”
