I went to the kitchen to prepare and eat breakfast, as well as start smoking my marinated flank steak for lunch. I had my headphones on listening to one of my usuals (Pasilyo) and just let my youtube on autoplay next so I can zone out, as my usual routine. I won't lie, I wasn't listening to the lyrics or paying attention to the songs or singers for the last 40 minutes. I mean, I was zoned out and vibed. By the time I was done eating breakfast, washing the dishes, and walking back to my computer, I was thinking to myself that I needed to rewind and get the songs I was listening to for the last 40 minutes after Pasilyo, because I felt good. Everything was perfect with what was going on in my life for the last hour. I was surprised to find that it was a playlist. Thank you for saving me the time to gather up all the songs, but most importantly, thank you for the 40 minutes in my life that wasn't chaotic or amazing, but a small part of my life that I feel as though I would remember forever; that "soft sweet place", that "tranquility", and that moment the "songs found me" vibe that others have already said. Thank you, and thank you all artists involved.
