  • Sign her up. We want a full Harriet series. Zero to hero. We’ve all been there and it’s magical to watch somebody go through that process
  • "I'm a warrior, b%tch!" Love Harriet's enthusiasm. And she's having fun. That's the most important thing. Hope to see more of her and Manon. Go, Girls!
  • @HattieHaha
bloody hell what a lovely experience, thank you gcn. i can't wait for the next one <3
  • It’s easy to forget that we were all Harriet when we started cycling. I remember feeling so proud of myself the first time I was able to drink from my bottle without having to stop 😀 #TeamHarriet

Harriet getting into cycling is the most exciting content GCN has produced in a while. THIS is what cycling should be. Sharing good time, with good friends, and getting more people on bikes. Harriet, coming from an experienced cyclist, you have been doing a phenomenal job. Not many people will ever do 30 miles in their lifetime. You should be proud of yourself, and I hope you continue riding. This is such a heartwarming experience. Manon is such a great riding partner too. Such a good advocate for new cyclists to have a riding partner like you.

I'm glad gcn finally realized what a beginner cyclist is. I've always found 30 miles to be my no training needed distance. I can sit on the couch all winter and come out of the Gate with a 30 mile ride. It's hard but doable.
  • @Miriam-rf4xv
Perfectly timed - watching this as I eat my breakfast before setting out on my longest ride yet as a total roadie noob, with my lovely partner (who is a road cyclist). Thank you Harriet, you've inspired me :) (I have yet to be able to take my hands off the bars 🤣)
  • @bittiapina
"When you keep going... you're just one with the bike eventually." Exactly, Harriet. Exactly that 😌👌 Getting into what it's all about really.
  • @TK-ov4hn
Harriet, you are an international super star now! Greetings from Kentucky, we love watching your progress and improvements. Manon is a wonderful mentor.👏
  • @n22pdf
Well done Harriet.. GCN should make a series of your progress, training etc clip less pedals make a great difference but their is a learning curve or maybe a series of you showing uk cycling routes or gravel routes 🤩👍🚴
  • @hoopdoggydogg
She is as raw and unfiltered as a young child - nothing but pure truth comes out of her mouth. I can imagine she is so relatable to beginner cyclists.
  • Thank you so much for this Manon and Harriet. I'm a beginner cyclist too and can't yet take a drink whilst riding, can only do a couple of pedal strokes standing and I have my hands on my brakes too. I feel really self conscious riding here because I only see very serious cyclists. I appreciate that you allowed yourself to be vulnerable Harriet; to allow us beginners to feel encouraged ❤ I managed to ride 37km today and had to nap! I really hope that this introductory content continues and I'd love to see how Harriet progresses. Maybe some beginner skill content (riding without a hand/s, standing whilst riding, how to go about hills etc). Thanks again, happy cycling ladies 😊
  • @TC-py1if
I totally understand her excitement. Good for her! Keep it up! Two years ago I started cycling and went for a 15 mile ride. I bonked half of the way on a small climb. Now I'm doing 100 miles rides with no problems. It's amazing how the body adapts if you give it time and patience.
  • @Rachinajar
Love this! I'm a beginner and most I've done is 23km, slowly building it up, but hills are a killer!
  • @dereknalley
Excellent! More of this! Harriet and Manon are a great team.
  • @lifeloved409
As somebody who hasn’t cycled in years (since having a significant ankle injury following an accident), I found this very humbling, wholesome and inspirational for those who are not physically able to push back to back KOMs or hit those century rides. Thank you for the content!! Looking forward to watching more :)
  • Of all the amazing and informative videos on GCN, this has to be my favourite. So heartwarming and inspirational. Just goes to show how cycling reqlly is for everyone. Well done Harriet, and well done coach Manon! 👏🏼
