Squatters who were driven out of a Las Vegas home have come back and they are trying to take revenge. Neighbors have but up signs to let them know they are being watched.

  • Let me get this straight... They know who the squatter is, he is wanted on multiple warrants and you are having a meeting with police to see what you can do!? Now think how ridiculous that sounds for a second.

The law needs to be changed so squatters cannot hide behind false claims of being tenants.

I don't understand why these "squatters" are not being charged with breaking and entering and trespassing.

When law enforcement refuses to do their job, the door is open for vigilantes.

Squatters should have no Rights. They should be arrested immediately.

I say it yet again. Look at your local prosecutors. If there are not repercussions for breaking the law, nothing will change.

"Revenge?" How could you possibly call it "revenge" when you're trespassing on another person's property?

A 12 gauge is a great eviction tool.

2008 Southern Humboldt CA as a tenant was moving out squatters watched and as soon as the previous tenant was completely vacated the squatters moved in before the UHaul truck was out of sight in me rental cottage. Sheriffs chatted with them then told me to go to court to evict them. I didnot. Instead I watched them and as soon as they left for groceries or something similar I MOVED IN! And when they returned I called the sheriffs again for a home invasion and attempted assault situation. And they were taken away and booked for home invasion. There were injuries to the perps. But I defended meself as I am a blackbelt instructor. Yup. Oh no they never came back although months later I saw them in town being arrested for shoplifting from one of the businesses. Never saw them again.

Laws need to change regarding squatting. These people are breaking and entering and trespassing. This is absolutely ridiculous! Our government needs to do better.

Squatters are are nothing more than burglers breaking & entering. If somebody has broken in & is present in your house you should be able to shoot them.
  • This is ridiculous, that strangers can just break into someone's house and live there. Something has to be done to protect the homeowner's.

Squatters in one of my Dad's houses back in 1994, found out just how quickly they could be put out of a house. One day the 4 Squatters left the house to go off on one of their Theft runs. Wasting No time Dad had his Excavator friend begin to Level the house. Within 3 hours later, they came back to see the last Dump Truck leave with the last remains of the once Standing house. The Squatters attempted to File Suit on my Dad. But Lost. Dad however was fined $45.00 for not having a Demolition Permit.
  • a friend of mine had them in his home he bought to remodel and they would not leave. So he asked me what should he do. Me being a kind caring person put together a few smoke bombs and at 3am we threw them though the window and man they couldn't get out fast enough. Then I stayed in the house after they left ARMED TO THE TEETH! Problem solved.

Thank you for calling these people what they are “squatters”. Seattle news insists on calling them “campers”. Last time I checked camping was a recreation where squatting is a violation!

These people think they’re entitled to someone else’s property. What is wrong with our legal system to allow this? If the power isn’t off I’d take out the meter and cut lines. Shut the water off! Take NASTY FART SPRAY and spray it in windows and under the door. Not to mention… for sure their vehicles! People like this are a disgrace to society and their country!
  • I remember one story where an older woman was hired as a "live-in" maid, babysitter, and she refused to do any work, or watch the child. They tried to kick her out, but since she was invited in, they had to go through evictions, which could take anywhere from 30 days to six months, if they contest it. It was crazy, that this woman would not leave.
