The fact that Doc was defensive about the question shows that pressure is getting to him.
  • @akari.
One of the rare few times when Kenny would make a point and actually make sense with it. Doc is definitely feeling the pressure. He's two losses away from becoming the first HC to blow a 3-0 lead.

Shaq was so big and dominant. Shaq just fails to realize that not every team has a player like himself. Coaching and adjustments matter specially in the playoffs.
  • @astewart4468
Coaching is important and even Shaq knows it, that's why he got quiet when Kenny mentioned Phil Jackson
  • @Anandroid
Kobe would have slapped the stupid out of Shaq for saying all of that and trying to take all the credit
  • @soondarae8173
Kenny malfunctioning after that bus rider statement from Chuck
  • @datsapaddlin
With all due respect the Lakers aint hittin a 3 peat with Del Harris πŸ˜‚. Phil Jackson brought in the triangle and the rest was history. He also had Pat Riley for his 4th ring. Shaq trippin πŸ˜….

Every great player/team is accompanied by a great coach period. Bill Russell with Auerbach Magic/Kareem with Riley Isaiah and the Bad Boys with Chuck Daly MJ, Kobe and Shaq with Phil Jackson Duncan with Popovich Steph with Steve Kerr LeBron/Wade with Spoelstra and indirectly, Pat Riley
  • I like doc, but until he wins another title, he'll always be remembered as the only guy to blow a 3-1 lead THREE TIMES... Kenny is right, he's feeling MAD pressure.

I lowkey think shaq doesn’t have a high basketball IQ for him to say coaching doesn’t mattered is just an ignorant statement on his part when he was getting swept before and after Phil didn’t he think coaching mattered?some of the stuff he says is mind boggling
  • Shaq: "excuses makes cowards of us all." Kenny: "no that's fatigue." πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Shaq needs a coach to teach him how to win arguments πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ€·πŸΏβ€β™‚οΈ
  • @SupremeDonuts
kenny is right individual greatness will win games but ultimately its coaching and individual greatness combined that will win championships. Shaq trippin. But he is right in the sense that players need to step up by hitting those shots and executing those plays, plays decided by the COACH
  • @paulb2092
I think they're missing Shaq's point: if a team gets to 3 and 0 with that combination of coaches and players, and then goes 0-4 the rest of the way, you can't blame all that on the coaches. The player part of the equation has to take some, maybe most, of the responsibility. I feel that's probably true here too with the performance of Philly's stars. On the other hand, the turnaround by Toronto has a big coach's element, as he's made it possible by his adjustments for his players to play their best, most effective games.
  • @pegasusj4655
Lol sound like Doc feeling the pressure more than anyone rn
  • @ikoikoni
There's a reason why MJ retired again when the Bulls gor rid Phil Jackson. He knew how important coaching is to the game.
  • Lets be real they’re asking him that cuz he’s the only coach that could choke like this πŸ˜‚
  • @khoo6622
It's Coaching matter. KD & Kyrie said they don't need a head Coach. Look at Nets now.
  • @MaiBigButt
If there's a coach who's capable of losing and blowing a 3-0 lead for the first time in league history, Doc is that coach. Having that in his resume would be a hella achievement.
  • Please let them blow a 3-0 lead it would the most hilarious moment in sports history
