  • This video is really blowing minds reading through comments. 1. Yes, this video is old. I work 7 days a week 100+ hrs consistently - editing this channels content is farther down my task list. 2. Yes, this is the same table I've had for awhile. 3. See #2. No, this is not another new table. 4. Getting a piece of equipment doesn't change a person. 5. I understand there's a lot of people that can't afford a table. But does that mean a guy that can make it happen through hard work, grit and determination shouldn't get one because a friend can't? With this mentality, there literally wouldn't be any successful businesses in the world.

The fact that there are not only negative comments, but mean spirited comments literally baffles me. These naysayers only out themselves and show how small minded, lazy, jealous and have no determination and drive to better themselves. They give up without even trying and say that's impossible, and then get mad at the ones who have shown them that with hard work and determination, anything is possible. Thank you Derek. You and your family deserve every bit of success you have acquired. Thank you for being the role model you are. And don't let the naysayers do anything to you, except give you more drive and fuel to feed your success.

You did the work and grew your channel, with Jessica's help, and now you are getting the nice tools you deserve.
  • Everything Derek has he has EARNED. He EARNED that brand new shop. He EARNED this plasma table. He EARNED what seems to be a loving and caring family. To all of you who say he is going above his station or that he is not the same YouTuber, your right. He has made himself a higher, more comfortable and enjoyable station and he has become most likely the best mechanic themed YouTuber ever… Derek, you are living and loving all of our dreams and some people can’t handle that I suppose. Keep fighting the good fight ✌️

Not sure if you realize this, but since you're going to be making stuff for the store you've more-than-likely created a full-time job for someone right off-the-bat and part-time if not full-time going forward from initial stock run. Congrats!

Side gig idea….put the tiny humans to scooping up those trimmed pieces (like the 3 round pieces and the V, G, and G if they’re sizable enough. Tack the letters together for keychains. Set the Bieri boys up with an etching kit…makeshift with old style battery charger, q-tips, and a salt water solution. With some stencils they can etch designs into those blanks and make key chains or other cool stuff. (Looks up knife etching or makers mark etching for how to’s)
  • Oh yeah I'm ready. Hope your healing up good brother. Great live stream the other day. The family and myself sure appreciate your hard work.
  • Wow! I've been wondering about the story with this machine. It is just TOO COOL! I love everything about metal work and I know that you'll put your creative genius to work with it. Also, I think it's great that you have something like this that your kids can learn on too, if they are interested. They have such a great head start on life with parents like you and Jessica. Congratulations, and thanks for including us on these videos! All the best to you and the family!
  • Awesome. Derick, once you start messing with CNC technology your mind goes in overdrive. My husband has an old Bridgeport and a lathe in the garage. He is 67 years old and had jumped the CNC worrld now. All he does is smile nowadays. :)
  • @MrLotrecht
I think if you look back when you are in your twenties-you never thought to get such a good garage- workshop, so I congratulate you for that! Its deserved! One of your boys will love it forever !

Nice little trick with plasma tables too. Use a standard fax/print/scan scanner to scan gaskets and then just upload the image to the tables software and convert to a cut path and you can make a flange. Being in TN get an air drier for your compressed air if you dont already have one.
  • @hansosl
You earned this table from hard work. You helped me through hard times. I'm watching for 3 years now, found this channel after my wifey died. You are a good guy and love to see you gettin your dream Shop together.
  • Nothing stopping you now buddy. I wish you the very best of luck. Vgg is the best channel on YouTube.
  • So happy for you Derek. I've worked with plasmas before and your going love it. It's going to make things much easier for you and it will pay for itself in no time 👍👍👍
  • I love seeing you get new and exciting tools or shop upgrades! you work hard to entertain us and you and your family deserve all the success you've had and more! looking forward to some vgg license plates.
  • @CBRHurricane6
Absolutely awesome! Great to see the hard work paying off!!!
  • @SadPuppySoup
The one thing I can tell ya is keep a good and clean tip and the cuts come out as nice as a piece of art. We sure have came a long way from the oxy acetylene torch and arc welding days huh. A 4x8 table ya say, man the things you will be able to make.
  • @suzuki230
Congrats! You deserve it! Can’t wait to see what is made from this awesome machinery.
  • Looking forward to seeing the cool things you create with this! Congrats!
