Doubt anyone may see this, but Soken did not do this arrangement actually, it was Daiki Ishikawa, who did a lot of arrangements during Soken's medical therapy and also several songs from FFVIIR. Just feel somebody should point this out to give credit to the proper artist. :0

i cant believe they actually brought this theme back to life. I was here like "wait... 'The Extreme'? no way" cause i had no idea, it's been months since i finished Endwalker and kinda entered an "hiatus" on playing XIV. Hearing this again brings me so many good memories i actually got goosebumps

All the FF8 music being used in XIV is just giving me so much nostalgiaaaaaa~ Really love the build-up in the beginning until it drops to the actual beats.

Having played through normal e12, despite loving the music, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't at least a bit disappointed that we didn't get a XIV remix of The Extreme. I'm very glad to see savage show me otherwise.

the editing and timing on this video with syncing the crescendos and parts where the music gets intense with the start of the fight/the big mechanics is SO GOOD
