The media should not be afraid of telling the TRUTH. Take it back. Take it ALL the way back. Please do not erase me! GREAT INTERVIEW

Hearing that banjo riff when I heard about Beyonce's Country crossover hit, made me love it immediately as soon as I checked it out. Texas Hold Em sounds more 'Country" than a lot of current pop country coming out of Nashville, so I don't get a lot of the backlash and criticism. It is great that she is going Country because she will bring new fans to the genre that previously had no interest in it.

Great interview. I am also originally from Michigan so I appreciate the shout-out to Vernors.

Great interview. Now I want to hear that opera! About the title: 1. She brings a beautiful banjo to a great song; 2. Rhiannon’s voice has such range, power and sweetness that I every time I listen to this song I have to remind myself that is not her singing this time.
  • "the power of a well told story masquerading history". We don't talk enough about class

Glad, but not surprised to hear her comments starting 12:00 about overcorrecting.

If you want to learn about black history. They got books that black educators have written. And they tall the trust. They don't water it down or tell lies like them high school teachers do. And some time you can look it up on the Internet.

I bought a hard case for my 5 string banjo at a Guitar Center and the Goth kid at the counter whistled Deliverance as I was walking out the door....I thought, this is how far removed young folks are from Roots music.
  • Do Jay-Z and Beyoncé take 25% and more in publishing rights, credits, copyrights, and points from writers, engineers, producers, and others who contribute to Beyoncé's albums?
