Possibly the best actor in hollywood. I love the fact he stays out of the spot light. True to his wife and don't live like some of the hollyweirdos.

When you pray for rain, you have to deal with the mud to. Love this line, it's true.

He’s such an amazing actor, he’s literally perfect for this role.

Amazing how a nearly 70 year old man can sell us all on him being an elite killer, able to handle multiple bad ass enemies in seconds!
  • I like how he actually gives him 9 seconds. every other movie goes "THERE ARE 30 SECONDS LEFT ON THE TIMER" and proceed to give us five minutes of action

I'm petitioning Congress to create a law making it illegal for Denzel to get older.

What an amazing dialog delivery. Denzel builds that tense moments by those voice modulations, right pauses at the right moments, right inflictions. He is telling the story and it comes to you like a picture across your eye. Amazing actor. Hope he does more and more movies.

The Equalizer franchise with Denzel is one that never lost quality across its three films and I love how the mystery of who he was before and what he has done remains, even to us the audience. If they ever want to explore his past though, I hope they do it absolute justice!

The most cold-blooded thing in any of these films (now that I am a father) is definitely mingling with the family, and picking up the child of the man he's going to dispose of. That shit hits different now.

That's such a good line right at the start. "When you pray for rain you gotta deal with the mud too."

I loved this take on the Equalizer, and how Denzel has made this character his own. Apparently he loves playing McCall, and it shows. Not shown here because it's not a badass threat, but the "You got no idea what death is" in 2 is so damn powerful. Can't wait to see 3 soon.
  • I love the fact that Antoine isn't afraid to just let the camera sit on Denzel. The camera loves his face.

The best scene by far is when he finds the long lost sister of the old jew. He was fighting to get a painting of her, but instead of that painting Robert finds the sister herself. No fighting scene could ever match that level of joy. 🥰🥰🥰😊😊

“See! Help and company.” Absolutely chilling when he says it in the context he does.
  • I can't think of anyone would play the Equalizer better than denzel it's like he was built for this role
  • Absolutely amazing acting. I love all the shows that he's been in. Here are just a few. Of course The Equalizer series, Flight, Man on Fire, The book of Eli, Training Day, Remember the Titans, John Q, The Hurricane. We are so blessed to be living in this time when he's acting.

That works on villains every time. You tell them they have exactly 9 seconds and they're all "Great, we have 9 seconds!" and then you attack after 3 seconds and they're completely caught off guard...

One of only a very few in Hollywood that not only has made great movies over 30 years or more but never once heard a negative thing about him. He was a caring father. Can remember when he attended & spoke when one of his children graduated from hard U of P Wharton school.
