  • "Why is this fortified with Iron?" Hi, a Filipino Nutrition-Dietetics student here. According to the Republic Act No. 8976, Food Fortification program, all processed food must be fortified with a vitamin and/or mineral in order to battle the malnutrition that is prevalent in the country. If you're wondering, why in chips? It's because they're cheap and most families can only afford processed foods like chips, ramen noodles, and biscuits. Just sharing.

Iโ€™m a Filipino, and I literally have never read what was written at the back HAHAHAHA
  • @ayeishagee7249
When Ollie actually read those descriptions, lmao. That's actually how it sounds in the tv ads. Amazing.
  • @therealestruel
I remember back when I am in my elementary grade, when you have Piattos during recess or a snack, you're the richest. Lmaooooo
  • @YumiFaeldo
"Fortified with" If you're going to eat junk foods anyway, you might as well get something nutritious instead of just salt, fat and msg. Seriously though, malnutrition is still a problem in the Philippines especially in the very rural areas. Access to healthier snacks would is expensive. Thus.... fortified! Mabuhay!
  • @ccil1609
Filipinos in fact RARELY read blurbs on their snack's packaging! So, it's funny watching you as you read and give your reviews!
  • @30BIHHSINMYBUGA
As a Filipino, them arguing about the sweet corn is really hilarious to watch.
  • Well, in the Philippines we canโ€™t call โ€œKetchupโ€ as โ€œTomatoโ€ because we have Banana Ketchup ๐Ÿ˜‚
  • @Leoneyle
Ollie: "Sweet Scorn" Me: So I've been reading it wrong the entire time...
  • Their reaction on PEEWEE is so funny๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚That was literally my reaction when I ate peewee when I was a kid. Btw I'm a Filipino too, it's just that I'm not fond of Peewee. But I respect you guys who likes peewee๐Ÿ˜‰

As a Filipino and my 13 years existence ..I have never read the โ€œblurbโ€ on the back of each snack ๐Ÿ˜‚
  • @timt2753
"Sweet Scorn" I can't unsee it. I shall be calling that snack Sweet Scorn from now on.
  • @BradCoopTof
Your Tagalog pronunciation is the best Iโ€™ve ever heard from non-native speakers. Like how is it so good?
  • @bobbytan711
Love how they pronounce โ€œPiattosโ€ piattoes but in the Philippines we just say it as it is
  • @jae7751
