As someone in the project sekai fandom, this isn’t really surprising. People make ai covers of the real characters to songs that aren’t already in the game and it sounds very realistic. This might be because project sekai attracts the vocaloid community and so many fans already have experience with using vocal synths in songs (i assumed they’d be kinda similar to ai voices but guess not, sorry), but the fanmade covers themselves are based on the characters with human voice actors and voices so it’s just as impressive to me

the kanye song is surprisingly good but it does sound like it was recorded in your grandma's house and there was a bit of robot echo like idk what to call it other than that it was pretty good
