"United there's little we cannot do... Divided there is little we can do"... Man, if only we could have a president like that rn, forget the parties... that'd be beautiful
  • “Ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man.” My first time hearing this quote and it comes literally right after his most famous of all 🤨
  • I think school children need to see this to understand what is still needed.

I'm 22, and I'm african American. This man inspires me so much. It's a shame how politics don't conduct themselves like this anymore.

The greatest Presidential inaugural speech of all time. This was recorded on video tape--a new invention at that time!
  • Rest In Peace Mr. President I hope one day you’ll receive the slightest bit of justice. “The rights of man come not from the generosity of state, but from the hand of God”

The accent is not difficult to understand, the message is crystal clear to assimilate and the democratic spirit is a must to follow - a unique speech from a legend of the century

"To those old allies whose cultural and spiritual origins we share, we pledge the loyalty of faithful friends. United there is little we cannot do in a host of cooperative ventures. Divided there is little we can do--for we dare not meet a powerful challenge at odds and split asunder." This is my favourite line from this speech. Grazie Presidente. Viva la pace, viva la libertà 🇪🇺🤝🇺🇸

i live in DC and often visit Mr Kennedys resting place, to pay respect, he was a hero in every way!
  • I like how the camera constantly pans over to Eisenhower who seems pretty pleased with the situation. Not sure if it’s because he’s impressed by Kennedy or if he’s just happy to retire 😆
  • I have been lobbying various uploaders to include the Oath as part of the upload and finally it's here! CBS News cameramen provided the best footage of this glorious moment and day! Thank You CBS News Archives!🇺🇲

  • We will have a political class with this level of integrity. All we have to do is understand and care for each other, and our leadership will be the product of our brotherhood. God bless everyone in this nation and the world.
