also love how they made the new 600rr look like a mini Fireblade! :)

I got to see the CBR600RR in the flesh at EICMA last month. It looks fantastic and had to be one of the best looking bikes at the show. The amount of attention it got was interesting to see, it certainly didn't feel like this category is dead at the show. The turn signals brings down the overall looks but hopefully it'll be an easy fix with aftermarket parts.

Not a fan of TFT displays at all. I will keep my 2015 with analog tachometer. Other than that, I prefer the design of the CBR.

Thank you for doing all this research! You’re saving us a lot of time going through written material. I looks forward to watching your video when you buy the CBR as I’m 100% certain you will 👍🏻😉
  • In all my years riding it has came down to the Kawasaki or Honda. Both have been amazing power and handling. You cant go wrong with either bike. I do have the 2024 ZX-6. I added a Graves full exhaust with filter and flashed ECU. It made big difference. Graves will have the velocity stacks available in one more week, these will add quite a bit more hp as well with unlimited mapping for buying their full system exhaust. This new 636 has really impressed me with my upgrades. I remember my first Ninja, it was back in 1989. It was a 1989 Ninja GPZ 900R.

Tuners love the CBR600rr engine! Don't forget it used to be the base platform for Moto2. I think the engine has come with an over-rev capability since the first RR in 2003, if not the refreshed 2005 model definitely had this. The Ninja's extra 37cc isn't enough for much more power. It's enough to make a supersport 600 a little more flexible for road use, but not ridiculously more powerful.

Having an electronic steering damper is very cool. I could be wrong, but I'd feel better with a mechanical one. I think that something as simple as a wire coming loose would be trouble, whereas an "old school" mechanical would be less likely to fail. Again, it's just a thought.

When the honda comes to america i will definitely put myself in debt

Love your videos...still watching them...don't stop showing them....
  • I really like the looks of the CBR but I think for street use the Ninja is better with its extra torque. Anyway it's but useless speculation unless one tries them.
  • Wow!!! I’ve got a Gixer 1100. 1991!!! Old school. These new bikes are amazing !!!!

Another great video, HeroRR. I do like the looks of the Honda, yes. But those turn signals...one of the first things I would change. Those seem like a...mistake. Like, afterthought sort of mistake. BTW, my wife LOVES her '09 Yammie R6. She's had since new, probably will never sell it. I just got a new MT09 back in June. I love being back on a naked sport bike for sure. This might be my "forever" bike. It's also a course correction after I (unwisely) traded my Kawasaki Z1000 (2012 model).

I wish both bikes had an option to keep an analog tachometer if you wanted to. These TFTs are nice, but in 10 to 20 years they will look outdated and they might fail. It would also be a nightmare to fix digital electronics, vs an analog tachometer. The old gen zx6r had a gear indicator and a fuel gauge right next to the gear indicator, so they wouldn’t need to do very much to add it to the new bike.
  • I just don’t understand why Europe and Japan get the new CBR while we’re stuck with the same bike since 2013? One major feature left out here is how the euro/japan version of the CBR is something like 30lbs heavier than the US version due to all the electronics and ABS. With 118hp, you’ll definitely notice that weight increase. I’ll gladly hang onto my ‘18. I’m really liking that 40th anniversary 636 though. That thing is sexxxy.
  • @aequitas8749
How does a sportbike not have a fuel gauge from the factory in 2023?
  • @adamkhan8530
In the UK you pay extra for the extra 37cc when it comes to road tax extra £31 compared to £80 for Cbr and £111 for Kawasaki annually
  • @The_madman999
I test rode both today back to back. The difference is night and day! Honda hands down the better bike in every single way. Ordered one there and then. Have an old Cbr600rr and thought before test ride the games maybe not moved on that much… it certainly has
  • Zx6 is an objectively better bike, but the honda 100% looks better and the undertail exhaust is beautiful.
