Catholics are often accused of accepting without discernment whatever the Church teaches, “taking things on faith,” and even of superstition. But is the Catholic religion, and indeed Christianity, in fact irrational? Dr. Ray Guarendi, clinical psychologist, radio host, father of ten adopted children, mustache enthusiast, and author of several books including Thinking Like Jesus: The Psychology of a Faithful Disciple, will demonstrate how reason and logic can convince us that Jesus is who he said he is, and that the Catholic Church is what she says she is. A little clear thinking goes a long way in engaging those whom God puts in our path about the truth of the Catholic Faith.

These questions and logical reasoning led me towards Catholicism. I asked myself a simple question, "What did the earliest Christians believe?" To my surprise, I stumbled upon a fact that I couldn't accept: Jesus founded the Catholic Church. It dawned on me that if he indeed established the Catholic Church, and he promised that the gates of hell won't prevail against it, then I must be living in denial. I realized that if Protestantism were true, universalism had to be true, which is not the case. I just wish my family could understand this. St Irenaeus confirmed catholicism for me

So true, if atheist are right, they won't ever know it. But if they are wrong, they'll have eternity to think about it

I had questions when I was 10 and people got mad, I said no thanx. Just came back at close to 50. Advise if your kid has questions get them a priest regardless of your feelings.

Dr. Ray, you really got me with the "host with the most", too funny. Great and beautiful talk, God bless you and your family.

Luther and the Protestant “reformation” eventually gave rise to secularism, as well. Exactly what the Devil(he who divides) wanted: the rip apart the Body of Christ.

I saw a comment on a Catholic video once: "haha, how can God be bread?" Ummm... How can God become man? How can a word become flesh? How can God create all, but not do as He promised?

Love Dr. Ray😂❤ He's so on the mark about the objections of the protestants, and the logical Truths and Realities of Catholicism. But, i don't think he's ever heard a Tree fall.😂 He'd go to the store if he was heavily sedated....the whole three hours they were there.😂❤✝️🕊❤⛪📿🙏

If Jesus is a deity, then yes, the Catholic Church is the only Church that can trace its roots to that time. The problem I have is with the entirety of the Greek scriptures, and nobody can answer my questions satisfactorily without threatening me with Perdition.
