The old off-white X-Wing invokes a sense of nostalgia via an old long lost childhood memory. Lovely sense with the track. Thanks EG and Space Cassette! Decided to shoot in the dark. Its a 1978 Kenner brand X-Wing. The light on the nose actually worked too! Apparently they were only produced for a couple years, and are collector's items now.

I can't stop listening to this! 43 seconds buildup with the chords, and then it hits you like a truck with no brakes. This is so good!

Sometimes I play the electronic gems playlist and play it on my FM transmitter at home, and tune in from several vintage radios around the house while I work. Very aesthetic.

The x-wing is a great example of how the wedge was a popular shape in the 1970's. A lot of cars, and even pocket calculators from around then too were angular and wedge shaped.
