I see Black Sabbath and Lost In Vegas, I click. It's that simple.
  • Nah the fact Bill Ward was the first thing you shouted out on this one is complete proof that yall just straight up are metalheads by this point
  • Put some respect on Geezer, primary lyricist when Ozzy was in the band, and a dope ass bass player.
  • There’s an interview with Henry Rollins where he points out how bands starting out assume Iron Man would be an easy cover and then they try that one part where they kick back into the main riff after the solo section and they realize how tight you have to be as a band to do that.
  • Geezer is the glue, the concrete, the rivets, the steel girders of the band, his bass is always wicked. And as for Bill, wild man of Birmingham,he’s top 5 in the all time list of drummers for me.

When Ryan says "My god!", that's the only appropriate reaction for that part. One of the single greatest moments of any song in the metal genre. A descending riff into an ascending riff, with an abrupt tempo change, with perfect chemistry. Pure greatness.

Give some love to Geezer Butler, he's the straw that stirs the drink

Iron Man is the song that solidified the art of the “transition” in hard rock/metal. Legends.
  • @jeglican
Of course they're the greatest metal band ever. Imagine being so incredible that you single handedly found a whole genre! They're the Chuck Berry of metal

great reaction, but please guys, more recognition for Geezer Butler on the bass, amazing bassist
  • Children of the Grave? National Acrobat? Spiral Architect? Hole in the Sky? Looking for Today? Sabbra Cadabra? Under the Sun? You guys have only just begun. Still love watching you guys enjoy music for the first time and be as amazed as i was my first time.

When it comes to not praising Bill Ward enough, by all means, let the world know if we aren't doing enough because he deserves much praise. Bill Ward is simultaneously heavy and funky. He's got the soul of a percussionist inside a beast of a heavy metal drummer. Love it.
  • Bill Ward deserves his place among the greatest drummers of all time. He hits at least as hard as John Bonham (RIP), has surgical precision that rivals Neil Peart’s (RIP), AND he could swing like Buddy Rich (RIP).
  • This one is special to me... My friend died during Ironman marathon last year and this song (no vocal version) was played at his funeral... R.I.P.

Bill Ward, one of the most underrated drummers of all time.
