Boosting the CO2 in your grow can have a massive impact on the size and yield of your plants. But what’s the right approach for you?

It depends on the size of your grow space.

Let’s take a look at a few different solutions, each one tailored for a different-sized grow. By the end of this video, you’ll know exactly what CO2 solution is the best for your grow.

I was skeptical of mushroom grow bags, until recently. I recently wsitched to a 2x4 tent for flowering. Added 2 bags on one side of my tent and noticed my plant were taller under 2 bags. I would rotate the plant and that side would grow taller. I have now placed a bag on each end of my tent. I do have a CO2 meter in the tent. With the bags I consistently have over 10% more CO2 with the bags. Normally 450 PPM with a 6" inline fan.. I have used yeast and sugar in the past but way more of a hassle than bags.

I buy large (8" across) candles with multiple wicks at target on clearance Burned in the lung room, there's no soot in the tent. ABSOLUTELY works. Once a day is plenty, 45 min or so ❤ Never leave unattended 😢

Im puffing on my plants during the grow and Ill puff on them after the grow 🤣

Sealed room. 20lb tank with controller set to 1450ppm. Higher temps higher humidity
  • Been reading about apples producing C02 and I used to use powdered sugar and yeast in a folgers can with holes in the lid.
  • Hey Scotty don't forget the old Tea candle method. I hang 5 in my grow and they grow beasts.:elbowcough::elbowcough::elbowcough:
  • Scotty you sir have taught me so much about growing! My 1st real go at growing and it’s dank LSD auto! day's out now and can't wait to share with my friends and my 74 year old mum. Cheers Scotty.

The average increase in growth rate and yield is about 30% when going from 400 to 1200ppm, as long as your other inputs can keep up

Back in the day I would use gallon jugs with warm water, sugar & yeast. Worked fine😂. Now have a generator but havent even hooked it up. Thanks for this ❤

I use Exhale bags in my 2x4 and 3x3 and can keep 600+ppm running negative pressure. I use gas in the 4x4 flower tent.
  • I run co2 but my tent turned into a room and now the tank lasts maybe a month . I love what it does though. Even my autos went crazy

I have a 90cm x 90cm x 180cm tent, I hang a mushroom bag in the top, and my inkbird CO2 sensor at canopy level is around 800 to 1000 depending on ambient temperatures.

How about fermenting homebrew in a keg with spunding valve (look it up) in your tent?

Air movement is important as only the air touching the leaf has the Co2 extracted by the plant. So you need to make sure the surface of the leaf is constantly having it's air replaced or it will be sitting in air, that has been depleted of the co2. So don't have you fan to high above the canopy and make sure it's tilted so it's moving the air below the tops as well.

Mercaptan when burnt also leaves a white residue on everything I would know my job includes servicing gas logs

I use 8 hour burn tealight candles for my extra co2, between 1 and 4 of them at a time, I do it throughout flowering so the plants get an 8 hour boost of co2 while the lights are on each day.

Citric acid, baking soda and aquarium co2 generator tank! Cheap and easy! 2x4 and 4x4 - easy 1200ppm
