    For additional context, to avoid federal regulations, Texas is the only state in the continental United States that is NOT part of the national grid. Texas depends entirely on its own power production and lines, therefore, they can’t get backup power from other states. It makes these power outages significantly longer.
  • So terrible and scary when families have to leave their homes because of some kinda disaster. I hope all these climate refugees get the assistance they need as human beings.
