OMORI is a surreal psychological horror RPGmaker game. You must travel between two worlds, both welcoming, both concealing the same secrets. Meet new (old) people, fight new (old) enemies, explore your own memories, and uncover some hidden truths along the way (although you wish you hadn't.) When the time comes, you can only choose one.

Which world is more real? You decide, I guess.

People saying "I feel bad for those of you who had to wait 6 years" I say I feel bad for those of you who listened to this song for 6 years and then found when it plays in the game

Did you finish Omori? Yes. What did it cost? A trip to the therapist office

Today, on April 22, 2024, Omori's trailer turned 10 years old! Congratulations to everyone on the anniversary!

“Which world is more real? You decide, I guess.” What a wonderful quote that describes this game entirely.

When you found out about this game literally just now so you don't have to wait as long as other people

Despite taking 6 years, omocat didn't pull an yandere dev. Thank you so much omocat.

"You're not crazy even if one person believes in you..." "Talking to you makes me feel better..." "Too bad saving the world isn't as easy as these games make it out to be..." "The closest I've been to being happy is asleep..." "You are who you want to be..." I don't know why but I find these quotes really interesting. It's also interesting to see how the game has changed and which parts relatively feel the same

It’s funny how little context the trailer explains. All you see are random characters and places of course, you see that dark lightbulb, you see fractions of both the dream AND real worlds, you see other characters like aubrey, kel, hero and basil (both in the dream and real worlds), and a bit of what looks like mari's body. and you see some texts that describe how sunny would always want to be dreaming. but seriously, it just doesn't explain a lot of what the main story is about.

"I was 14 and scared, now I'm 20 and scared." -Some funny Omori review I found on Steam, 2020

    Omori has 4 moods: 1. trauma. nightmare. literal hell 2. m i s e r a b l e 3. Deez nuts energy + Kel 4. 'Wow...'

Honestly, i love the fact that this song is how it started and how it ended. It got people excited for being the first trailer, but also played at arguably one of the saddest moments in the game

i just want to say, omori has a special place in my heart. Not only its a game that perfectly encapsulates how grief, loss and trauam is so complex but it also was the first indie rpg my boyfriend introduced to me out of the blue. I still remember when i would sit in my room watching gameplays of this masterpiece as i could not be able to play it by myself, I got to see everything in it. Everynight I would go and message him and ask him so many questions as he knew the game better than i did, the shift of headspace to the real world, getting over fears, there was so much I would constantly ask him. When it got to the truth, I was shocked. Its a game thats still apart of my memory and one of the earliest I will always cherish with that era of time where he and I fell for eachother and would talk endlessly about omori and well, so much other stuff. I still get videos of this lovely game every now and then, it will always hold a special place in my heart.

Can't believe that Omori is finished earlier than Yandere simulator
  • @greenboi99
I just finished Omori last night, and it was undoubtedly one of the most incredible, haunting, deeply impactful games I have ever played. This game and the characters that occupy and embody it will stay with me for a very long time
