After 34 years of trying to learn Spanish, I can speak it pretty well, but I still have trouble understanding native speakers. This is a big help for people like me who speak pretty well but have difficulty picking up what fast speaking native speakers say

For me, this method of repeating phrases WITHOUT spoken English is hands down the best way to learn to hear and break down individual words in a phrase. I can keep my eyes closed until the 4th repetition and then open them to verify my accuracy. If you're taking requests I would ask for one with intermediate phrases. Thanks so much.

Don't change a thing. I'm waiting for more like this. I like the fact that only Spanish is spoken. This has definitely helped my listening practice!

I LOVE THIS. THIS IS WHAT I NEED! I know a lot of words, but it’s been hard to listen for them. Even an hour with this has made me more attuned to catching the words. I love that they are very varied, I get some and that helps with confidence along the way and I appreciate that sometimes the words will come back up, and that they are words that make a lot of sense to learn in everyday life. Great stuff! Subbed

This video is the most useful way of listening and understanding Spanish besides direct conversation. Please make more of these videos.

I have been collecting videos similar to this for months. This is the only one that gets it exactly right. Also, I llike the fact that the Youtube settings facilitate increasing the speed. I would like to see similar videos using this format to specialize in problem areas of Spanish e.g. direct / indirect objects, para / por, conjugations, etc.

This is GOLD!! I love hearing it, then I think about it and learn it. Muy Bien gracias.
  • Excellent idea, right speed & only Spanish used helps learners so much. Look forward to more & more!! Easier for our listening comprehension if phrases used are in a group & relate to ONE SETTING at time. Eg. At the bank, beach, classroom, meeting a friend, going shopping, phone conversations, planning a visit, at the shops, catching a train etc. Muchas Gracias! Your efforts are much appreciated.
