When you put the meals in the heat pouch you put both the meatballs and mashed potatos in there at the same time. Leave the heating part in the bag and place each meal piece in separately on both sides of the heater pad. Then everything is heated🖒

Okay guys... leave the heater element in he FRH, add the entree then add the water. Insert the entire package in the sleeve, Lean in on a rock or something. Love the fact that half the duo doesn’t like potatoes and the military operates on potatoes.... don’t use the FRH, boil the bags in hot water. Better result...

I ate these a lot during Hurricane Katrina. We were without power for 2 weeks and couldn't cook anything. Anyway, you get used to heating them and pick up little tips and tricks, lol. I loved the potatoes when I had them! Now, I like potatoes, but they get a whole lot better tasting when you let them heat up. It actually takes a good 15 minutes or so to fully heat everything up. BTW, the potatoes are still crumbly, even when they're hot!

I would try mixing those potatoes with the meatballs to soften them up a bit (if I was starving). haha

Happy Birthday Kevin! Tami, you were a very good sport. I do not like potatoes either so I can only imagine the horror. Meatballs belong with pasta or on a sub with bread. Hope none of the other meals contain taters.

Hi, Tami. Those meatballs look simply delicious. Have you ever heard of King Vitaman cereal? It's a classic cereal from the 1970's that tastes identical to Cap'n Crunch, and you can find the cereal on Amazon, but not at many grocery stores.

I’m allergic to peanut butter so I’d be trading all my peanut butter and trail mix for more coffee cause that’s just not enough coffee. I’d try to create a stock pile of extra coffee lol.

I love mashed potatoes but those do look terrible. Plus mashed potatoes DO NOT go with Italian food imo.

I never used to like Mashed Potatoes either. I wouldn't even have tried the MP in here. Never had Marinara Sauce even at Subway.
