The neighbors LAUGHED when I cleaned the sidewalk in the rain, but then they were surprised

Today was a beautiful day until late at night. Near the end of the video there was a sudden shower that soaked the gravel and dirt, making it very difficult to clean up. At first, when we were cleaning, a neighbor came to inquire and laughed at us for working for the government for free. They believe that the local government should have spent the budget to clean the sidewalks. But they haven't done this in recent years and now we can do it for them. When we finished, the neighbor came out and saw that everything was clean and was very surprised. You see, the sidewalk was full of trees, rocks, and even a large truck climbed onto the sidewalk at some point, breaking a lot of bricks and breaking a fire hydrant. What's worth mentioning is that no one has repaired it like before. We didn't have any bricks or tools so we had to leave it as is.
As usual, we cleared the grass, sorted inorganic waste into trash cans, then dumped the grass and organic waste into the wasteland to let them decompose. I don't put grass in the trash because it will overload and cause difficulties for trash collectors. We can only contribute a small part to help the community. My wish is to soon save enough money to buy more tools and machines that can help work faster, to clean more places.

I like how wide the sidewalks are, and they are so pretty when they are clean, you would think that the neighbors would like to show some pride of their city and help keep it clean. You two do an awsome job, please keep it up, you work so hard.

Eles riem, é de vergonha, pôr serem tão preguiçosos, e deixar o lixo, e o mato engolir, as calçadas da rua que eles moram , porque, eles ficam de mãos nas costas enquanto vocês, na chuva ou no sol, sob um calor de °40- c..vocês não param de trabalhar, e até desmaiar, limpamdo , o lixo e a sugeira que eles deviam ĺimpar.
