This retro effect that the camera gives when he films his friends makes this ending nostalgic. Moreover, when Nobara calls him, Itadori seems lost in his thoughts, as if he wanted to engrave this moment in his memory and had forgotten to live the present moment. The visuals are very soothing.

0:54 Fushiguro and Nobara beckoning to Itadori making sure he doesn't get left out makes me SO SAD because that's all he really wants, making memories with the people he cares about before his time comes.

I almost cried at this ending. That shot of Yuuji alone in the frame recording with the phone, but being invited to join in, followed by shots of him with his friends. It's such a heartwarming followup to his time with Junpei, and it's as though he was recording because he was unsure that he, as a cursed vessel, would be allowed to join.

i feel bad for this ending, the first ending is so energetic and popular that this one isn't getting as much recognition as it deserves. in my opinion its one of the best ending i've heard.

The sad part about this ending is that it’s about yuji recording memories before he’s executed. Before he dies, he wants to look back on all of the memories he’s made.
