If we lost our chaps in iraq in 2007. I think I'd be okay. Only because I wasn't really close to our chaps. If we lost our 1stSgt at that time. That would have hurt my entire unit. 1stSgt Deyoung was one ofthe best Marines ai have ever met. Not your typical Senior SNCO. He had a way to bring people together even if there was internal conflicts. Extremely intelligent too.
